If you're feeling tired and need to get a little jazzed up stop at The Daily Grind. It's like sunshine in a cup. They have an elaborate menu so be prepared to spend some time browsing the options.
I wish the industrial coffee can be consistent some days it's great other times it's watered-down I don't get it
Had a mediocre bland sandwich with stale break and zero seasoning. Wouldn’t eat here again
The staff was incredibly rude.
A short walk from our hotel. Love the size and taste of their scones. Fast and super friendly service. Great prices for their coffee and pastries.
Been coming here for 20+ years. Coffee is fine but just absolutely love the convenience of it all; their sausage breakfast burrito with avocado is probably one of the best ones available in SB. I’ll regularly drop in for lunch for their sandwiches - the vegetarian is surprisingly good even though I’m not vegetarian.
This place is bomb. The chorizo breakfast burrito was delicious. Staff was cool too, would definitely come back and recommend
This place is the best value in town. Your missing out if you haven't tried the baked goods. Get their early as bakes goods go fast. My fav is the coffee cake. So yummy with their freshly roasted coffee.
We were staying at the Rose garden inn and this was a little bit of a drive but it was worth it. The coffee was great and the selection for breakfast items was varied which was nice. I had the avocado toast. Seems simple and I wasn't expecting much but oh my goodness the balsamic drizzle and the sun-dried tomatoes and the wonderful bread that was on as a fresh avocado was out of a swirled. I was not expecting such a delicious breakfast. My bad. But I would recommend this place friendly and just yummy
Great coffee and breakfast burritos. Prefer this location to the Mission one just because the parking is easier and less crowded
Good fresh sandwiches, we got multiple sandwiches and they were pretty darn good. Also they have a white chocolate "hot chocolate". It came with chips to round it off :)
Been going to their other location for many years, this is the first time at this store. Same great quality and staff plus plenty of parking.
I need to return to experience more options on the breakfast burrito.
Great coffee and munchies
NOT cheap, but a Santa Barbara classic, with a huge menu and lots of outdoor tables under the trees in a very accessible location with decent parking. Smoothies are a little too icy, but egg bagels are huge and delicious.
I really liked this place. The menu is extensive and looks delicious. We had the avacado toast and chorizo burrito, coupled with a Mexican coffee I was ready to start my day. Good food, good coffee.. Thank you!!
Great local grindz and coffee.. opens early!!!
Very poor customer service and experience. Though we are local and live nearby, it is was likely our last time at this place. Me and my son came here for breakfast on Veterans Day 2021 at 9 am. Place was empty. Simple order… bagel, muffin and lox-bagel … 20 min later lox-bagel (i.e. half of our order) was not ready while the rest was getting cold and stale. After my second check, we were told that our order was dropped on the floor and will have to be redone but they are out of bagel we initially ordered. I told them ok, but since I have bad knees (56 yr old Army Vet) I have asked them to bring it out when ready, so I do not have to come for the 4th time to check/order. The young sleepy man at the counter was very indifferent, non-apologetic and rude. I told him that we are running late for the Veterans Day ceremony at the Cemetery starting at 10 am. He could not care less and after another 10-15 minutes, our food was still not brought to us (sitting at the counter). We have canceled the remainder of order and left. They had not even care to apologies. This is not a way to treat any customer and especially a one with physical disability on the Veterans Day with a young kid... Beware when you go … or not... Handlebarcoffe is just a down the street with better and friendly service, better coffee and even plates and silverware (can you imagine? so you do not have to eat on the napkins at the dirty tables like at this place). To all Veterans; “Thank you for choosing to serve!”
This review is just this location (by Trader Joe’s) - the staff is less than welcoming and they have now messed my drink order twice in a row. Won’t be going back.
Every year I go on a camping trip in the Central Coast with my friends. On our way home my buddy Carlos and I stop here on Sunday morning for a breakfast burrito. I wish I went on more camping trips and ate more breakfast burritos at The Daily Grind. Shoutout for the old Taco Bell building.
