The place looks nice and has an impressive selection of specialty coffees and snacks, but the service I experienced was beyond awful. I ordered in advance for pickup using Grubhub. The estimated time of completion was 10:20-10:30. When I arrived at 10:25, the order wasn’t ready, which was fine, except that the barista was super rude about it and made it seem like my order was an inconvenience to him as he claimed to be “super backlogged” (there was one other party in the store at the time and they already had their drinks). Around 10:35, other customers started coming in, ordered, and started receiving their orders around 10:40. Still no sign of my order placed at 10:04 and a non-apology from another barista, who assured me my order would be right out. Additional drinks delivered to other customers over the next 5 minutes but no sign of mine, so I finally left at 10:45. Avoid this place at all costs. There is a nice place called Caje around the corner with great coffee.
Saw a report that the breakfast sandwich was good. It is! They even put it on a croissant for me. And the "scratch" cocoa is the best!
I got a chai. It was amazing. They have a cool pour over machine. Place is nice and modern. Lots of specialty coffee drinks on the menu looked really good. You should probably give this place a try!
Excellent coffee
An incredible coffee shop! I love the atmosphere, the aesthetic, and most importantly the coffee. It’s the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had. The staff is welcoming and polite. I can’t wait to go back.
This coffee shop has been revamped. Looks fantastic!!! The owner Mike is super chill and respectful. Great coffee, great environment, great service. And inventive, try the Crème Bru Latte if you want to see something cool.
Staff is super friendly! Lots of great seating. Breakfast sandwich was tasty and chai was nice and spicy.
This is such a cool spot. There's an automatic pour over machine that makes the perfect cup of coffee every time. The staff are always friendly and the food is delicious! I'd highly recommend any coffee lovers to give Pura Vida a chance
