Horrible. I ordered a latte, paid and then while I was waiting, asked to use the bathroom. The barista rudely said no. I told her I had just bought a latte. She told me I needed a receipt to use the bathroom. We were in a hurry to make a whale watching tour and the line to go back up front was too long to get a receipt. I politely explained this and she refused to give me the bathroom code. And I know she saw me buy the latte. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never frequent this coffee shop again. No stars!

A group of senior ladies needing to use the restroom. Asked the cashier if they had a restroom we could use and was told "No" we had to buy something. Actually I was going to buy coffee until I got that response. Thank you for treating out of town seniors horrible. We were actually treated like queens at the " Cleaners" around the corner.

Terrible. Baristas not accountable for a terrible espresso, and won’t fess up a mistake. They made me needlessly waste 20 min of my life for the wrong order, with no shame. horrible

The smell alone is with the stop. From the moment you walk in, you're entranced by roasted coffee. Great coffee, great value, amazing ambiance.

Our favorite place for great coffee drinks and gran n go breakfast options. I highly recommend the Elevated Breakfast Sandwich on an everything bagel and toffee latte.

Their lattes are made well (I got white chocolate mocha and toffee nut flavoring, yum), and my partner was happy with his order of The Melt and an iced tea. I couldn't leave without buying some beans to bring home. Thank you!

My favorite coffee spot. Lots of great choices made fresh, and the service is always impeccable

Cool vibe but also their coffee is excellent. I also think it's hard to find low-acid but excellent flavor decaf and they have blends that nail it.

I’ve come here a few times and I really wish I could give this place a better review. I want to. It has so much potential but there are several things that make it mediocre at best. For one, the music, although a really good vibe, is way too loud for the baristas to hear you when you’re trying to place an order. Secondly, silly thing but you have to check in BEFORE you place your order or you won’t get any points and they don’t offer a way for you to add them after the transaction is complete even though you can put your number in. Customer service is lacking, and I’m not sure if that means people don’t enjoy taking orders or they’re honestly just trying to hear your order.

Overpriced, gave us small instead of medium drinks. Barista argued we got what we ordered. Drink was barely warm. Asked if whole milk was okay but hot chocolate was made with water.

Good coffee, fun vibe, decent wifi. They just need more outlets. If working, remember to bring noise canceling headphones.

Great location way downtown with a public parking place directly across from them. One of the few places I can get a white cherry mocha! They also have milk substitutes such as soy, almond, and even oat.

😒 Coffee. Paradise Blend (lightest) Drip + bag. I'd recommend this shop to traditional coffee drinkers. I even bought a bag for a friend. However, "Roasting Company" is subjected to the realm of Specialty Coffee criticism. My review is to keep a reference of coffee shops I may want to return to. For "Turn n' Burn" coffee, 2 stars is very generous. (A 1 star would reflect a Charbucks or similar coffee shop). Traditional Dark coffee drinkers would enjoy the place.

Wonderful vibe, coffee and food. When I went the wifi was completely unusable for working (slow).

Back in SBRC after a decade. Didn’t disappoint! Excellent oat flat white and very well cooked bagel sandwich. Ambience good with lots of different seats and spaces. The roastery gives a lovely coffee aroma when it is working.

Excellent coffee. The bakery was really good- nice crunchy scones. Open and airy inside and nice outside tables. Traffic a bit noisy, but hey, it's downtown Santa Barbara.
