Unfortunately I had to leave S.B. because of my job, but Java Station was my absolute favorite coffee house to go to, and I did every morning. Incredible coffee and stuff, great vibe and awesome employees... It was where I went to "worship" the almighty coffee bean, and get "blessed" in return...

Knocking them down again a point as the menu items can leave a bit to be desired. It's hit or miss which I don't like. Sometimes delicious but sometimes a waste of money. Had a Carne toast with egg that was unpalatable due to unripe tomatoes, very crispy and the centers were so hard and tough you could break a tooth! I had to throw it out. The brownies are not as good as they used to be, more like cake with little flavor, will no longer get these as a treat. Just don't know. Have had sandwiches, including bagle options thrown together that were soggy and watery. Seemed to have not very fresh ingredients. Hope this shop gets back to being special. Coffee is good but little to no caffine boost. Friendly staff and great service. .... Am knocking them down one point today, new staff and for some reason twice now have had trouble with their coffee drinks, not sure why.. subpar twice in a row.. Also was sure their lox deluxe had something extra on it, but seems I'm wrong? Couldn't find a menu so I could check that. Hope will be back up to 5 stars a bit later. This place changes from time to time but overall is excellent. The staff is kindly, attentive and they make sure you have what you want, if not they will correct it. My standby place for their tomato, avocado toast which is the best I've had anywhere. Also love their bagel sandwiches and spreads, actually everything is good here. My one complaint is that at times their expresso makes me wonder just how low the caffeine content is. Tastes lovely but I want it to wake me up too.

Service is good, everyone that works there greets you with a smile. Super friendly! The food could have been better. The lox deluxe bagel was good, but wish I was given a few more slices of lox for the cost. The blueberry muffin is a little gritty, but good otherwise. Went here to do some work, but it’s more of a hangout space as the music is too loud and it’s typically rock.

Latte had an amazing froth to espresso/milk ratio, it tasted very rich. Espresso had a hazelnut flavor and was decently strong. Latte art was amazing (even though I messed it up by putting on the lid) - they have always done an amazing job with their art and fun designs. Highly recommended! Instagram: @roastin_reviews

This spot is something out of Cambridge or Brooklyn. It’s funky, a home grown kind of feel, with food and drinks that taste like they’ve had effort put into them. No pretentious or vanilla vibes at all. LGBTQ friendly and everyone inside is polite and smiles back, customers and employees! Many SB Coffee spots have a sort of…lame, generic, “don’t talk to me”, squeaky clean, get in get out feel. Not Java station, this spot is on point!

Coffee was good and the place is nice. Comfortable with tables inside and out. Breakfast burrito wasn't very good, loaded up with potatoes and not much flavor. Muffins, etc. looked really tasty

Got a latte, was ok but as I looked at the whole menu, I know I'll definitely be back to try the food.

This really sweet girl Issie recommended I go here and was telling me all about their coffee, how the beans are “cherry-picked” & they use Ghirardelli chocolate for their mochas. I immediately headed over here instead of Starbucks. Best mocha in town. Rich, robust chocolate and coffee flavor! Would opt for this place any day over any other coffee shop I’ve tried so far. Such sweet service too! I got my mocha double blended with oat milk. This pastry I got is also amazing. Highly recommend this place. Great hang-out or study ambiance too. Thanks so much!

Great coffee, great iced coffee, great cookies, great staff! Felt a little sorry for them, no air-conditioning. Nice atmosphere inside and out. Nice, neighborhood coffee hangout!

Very slow service. It’s good food if you want to sit down and have no where to go. If you have somewhere you need to be, don’t order food expecting they will make it promptly even when they don’t have other orders to make.

If you are in the area or passing through this coffee shop is a place you must visit. Was biking to In-n-out when I discovered this place and Rebecca made my experience very memorable by turning there pride latte into a blended beverage. There is a good amount of seating and a few parking spaces out front.
