Laid back atmosphere with delicious coffee. Friendly baristas. Pinball machines and seating area in back. Cold brew made on site. Cold brew is great with different added flavor or not. Option of espresso ice ball for more caffeine if wanted too. All in all, I will return.

Really liked the cold brew. Not bitter at all, really fruity.

Good quality beans and great tasting coffee. The light roast from Red Whale Coffee is closer to medium to me. I tried both Ethiopia (on the photo) and Nicaragua (Javanica).

Coffee wasn’t great, pastry’s are definitely not fresh they were very stale like they leave them leftover. The service was alright but the staff here seems so stressed out probably from the owner who is constantly yelling at them without caring who’s around. The owner is a very nasty, unhappy man and you can see it in the poor staffs face, they were working as quickly as possible. The place itself is pretty small but nobody’s there to stay too long anyway. I’d recommend Pink Owl Coffee or Equator 100x, Starbucks even!

Excellent and friendly service and the coffee is really good too. Nice choice of goodies to go with your drink choice.

Always great coffee and service. Takes time but the result is always top notch. UPDATE:. The pinball machines and games are a lot of fun and the atmosphere is great!

Vanilla Latte is extremely good, hot or cold. On rare occasion it's so good it could bring tears to my eyes. Consider contactless payment for the pinball machines, would play so hard!

I think this is the best espresso in Marin. It's tucked away so I can't go there everyday, but I would! Anytime we head North or out to the wine country I stop in here and get an iced latte. The balance is just right.

I really want to like this place. It’s a small local chain nearby where I live. They have a great menu and good selection of pastries and sweet treats. I’ve been twice in the past two months. The first time, I got a cold brew. It tasted like burned hot coffee that had been refrigerated overnight. Most recently, I got a dirty chai latte. It was nearly flavorless and very watery. Couldn’t taste the espresso at all.

Whoa, what a gem! Tucked into some random industrial commercial zone is some of the best coffee around. They've got pin ball machines(!!), great zucchini bread and really high quality coffee, not to mention their homemade brewed chai. Went there on a whim and wasn't disappointed. Looks like a great place to hang out too.

Had a poor experience with these folks at the SF coffee festival - we wanted to ask if we could substitute the espresso in their samples to which we were told no, we totally understood that substitutions were not possible and we didn’t say anything else, but the server was SO rude and continued after to say things like “what’s wrong with you” and was very dismissive to us. Maybe this guy was having a bad day, but regardless we felt that we did nothing to justify his rude service and if this is how the brand wants to promote themself at a very public event, I would not recommend anyone this place.

I never liked quiche all that much until the day I had their vegetable quiche… it wasn’t too eggy but rich in flavor from the mushrooms and onions. I was visiting for a work trip, and they had a food truck in the morning. Their latte and the croissant was amazing, as well as the person/(maybe owner) who was serving me.

Red Whale rocks. Great service, great ambience, great coffee. Just discovered this place and I would definitely come out of my way to come back here. I forgot to order my coffee decaf and they remade it for me free of charge even though I had the cash in my hand. Made me feel very valued as a customer. Infinitely better than your average Starbucks experience. 5 stars.
