Their coffee is amazing, i just wish they sold breakfast sandwiches or warmed food as well to make this part of my morning routine. Only pastries/ bakes goods at their location.
Lavy (lavender, sage, blueberry) latte was a good seasonal drink.
Interesting set up, large wearhouse setting. Reasonable coffee
Great coffee and a nice environment. We tried latte and dark coconut mocha, which were both delicious! Will definitely come back. It would be possible to order online, skip the line and just pick up your order. They sell packs of coffee beans with different flavors such as berries, peach, plum, chocolate fudge, etc. I suggest trying their delicious pies, too.
Consistently the very best macchiatos in the area! The staff are always friendly and competent.
I didn't actually try their coffee. But as someone who is looking for a place ti have coffee and work. This is not it. It's cold. Warehouse kind of space do not enclosed and not warm. So i didn't stay maybe when uts warmer I'll venture back.
One of if not the best coffee shop in the south bay! Highly recommend the roaster’s choice coffee subscription!
Would highly recommend the coconut mocha, but everything we had was good. Lots of nice plants, and a cool space overall.
A must try got a bag of beans that comes with a bonus cup of 4 types of coffee, flavor is excellent ,savory and sweet pastries are also served here
Hands down my favorite coffee ever. So these folks pay super attention to detail and adjust the brewing process to meet the weather conditions of each day. The coffee is mind blowing and very consistent. The staff is super friendly, service is quick, and the location is convenient. Special treats are always available such as pastries or peanut brittle from Snapdragon, or Local Willow Glen honey. A++++++
A great local coffee shop that roasts their own beans. Unfortunately 6/8ths of their massive space is cornered off for roasting and warehouse needs. I’ve seen other places roast using less than half that space by streamlining their set up (look to Compass Coffee in DC for an example). What I could see over the barrier hinted at inefficient design. All the tables and chairs for customers are in the hallways that are shared by other businesses - which is unfortunately not heated/cooled, while their shop space is. As much as I like their coffee, I probably won’t be returning here given that set up. It’s clear they are prioritizing their roasting space over serving drinks to enjoy outside of the home. Maybe this place would have more seating and a better atmosphere in the summer. That said, if you are looking for a craft coffee to go, or locally roasted beans to take home, come here. Otherwise pick a different shop.
I came here after 3-4 years looking for the creme brûlée coffee that I had back then and they no longer had it. Bummer! Because I wanted my sister to try it. They did have a dulce de leche which was a good substitute but there was no thrill of cracking the glazed top like of the crème brûlée. I got the hot version. It was sweet. I also got a chai tea with whole milk. They don't have reduced fat but they had almond and I believe oat milk as alternatives. The chai was very flavorful and sweet and I loved it. Nice loft/warehouse looking venue, not really a place to sit and drink.
So this place is not ideal todo work for extended periods of time. But it does have friendly, helpful amazing staff. The coffee and desserts are tasty and highly recommended. I am definitely going back for more fresh coffee beans. (They also grind them for you if you don’t have a grinder)
Spicy Mocha was excellent -- custom off menu item (cinnamon + 🌶️) I asked for a Spicy Mocha and they put one together, it was very nice of them. The entry seating is good for conversation, low noise -- my new go to place for meeting over a coffee
Love this place! The only place I trust for beans. I just wish we could sit indoors and hang out like when they first opened. It was def a cool vibe pre pandemic.
Coffee is ok, I drink hot black with sugar "basic coffee". Their large is like a medium, Freezing cold warehouse with metal tin decor, no heat, it's a coffee house, I think warm toasty and comfortable. Maybe heater was broken and was just an off day but not what I expected
Amazing place with delicious coffee
I have been going to Chromatic Coffee for a while now, at this location as well as another they had before the pandemic. They are very serious and dedicated about their coffee, I personally love their DCM (dark chocolate mocha). It has a very fun ambience being located in an old converted warehouse, which definitely gives it an old style urban rustic feel. I love many coffee shops in San Jose but I always come back to this one, having nostalgia for the place.
Awesome place and awesome people, hou can find some great coffee in here, the place is just amazing with a lot of refined touches to make you feel in a very nice environment. Really recommend you to come in here !
The coffee isn’t good enough to warrant the hassle. Showed up to an enormous line and the space isn’t capable of coping with the number of people. On top of that, they’re selling bacon-based pastries without a way to heat them. Overall, this was a disappointment.
