I love the coffee boba it tastes so good
I am in LOVE with the Ham Croissant Sandwich. Ive gotten it at least five times this year. It fills me up and makes me feel good and healthy ☺️ The bread is so delicious!! I usually pair it with the funfun Honey Lavender Latte but today I went with the cute Sunset Pea Flower Lemonade. This place is awesome, to stay in or take to go, its always a good time :)
They were very friendly and the energy was amazing! The coffee was delicious too! 10/10. Was also very clean! ❤️
A wonderful little gem in San Carlos! I needed to grab a quick breakfast bite after drop off at school and The Simple Coffee House is convenient and offers a small but delicious menu. I ordered a small Mexican Mocha and Avocado Toast with Prosciutto and both were fabulous!
Every Saturday morning you will find my Father-In Law and his brother (I tag along sometimes) at the coffee shop. They’ve had this tradition for many many years to connect for coffee once a week. The Simple Coffee House is a cute little whole-in-the-wall joint to either pop in for coffee and a pastry to go, or stay awhile and enjoy the soft music playing while you jump on their wifi. They also have outdoor seating when the weather is right.
First time will be going back. Delicious sandwiche. 😋
Mango tea tasted like straight water. Pea tea lemonade was good… but the aftertaste tasted like fridge. Shocked at the quality considering other rave reviews, hoping this was just an off-day for them. Update: Feels like they need to change their water filter or something because the water used in the tea and lemonade tasted way off. Got a horrible stomach ache for the rest of the day after drinking the drinks, and didn’t get food from anywhere else so it wasn’t that. Very strange- i would NOT recommend this place at all.
They have the Best service. I’m always here in my lunch’s and they always give there best.
I love this coffee house & have been a patron for years. Wonderful & friendly employees, the food is delicious as are the baked goods. Wide variety of drinks and excellently prepared. Rustic atmosphere with a great variety of music in the background. I highly The Simple Coffee House!
Love this little coffee shop. Love the rustic decor - the green plants with the solid wooden tables, love the music and seeing this collection of old vinyls. After 3ish, it gets a bit more lively with the high schools kids grabbing their drinks, but great kids, it's always calm enough to get some work done or catch-up with a friend on the terrace... Love to be there in the sunshine... The owners are always super friendly and so is the staff!
I come here often for lattes and their frappes, both of which are amazing. However today I got an açaí bowl to go and this is the smallest açaí bowl that I've ever received from any establishment. To charge $8.50 for this small container (slightly taller than my chapstick) is a disgrace; will never be ordering that again.

Such a great coffee shop in the San Carlos area! Tons of easy parking, great ambiance, and lots of seating indoors and outdoors. I ordered the lox bagel and it was delicious. Instead of tomatoes, they use cucumbers which is perfect for me since I don't like mine with tomatoes. They put a very generous amount of lox and capers too. I got it on a jalapeño bagel and it was great. I'm definitely coming back just for their lox bagel. I just got a house (black) coffee though so nothing too special, it was good. Workers here are very friendly and quick! Overall this is a great coffee shop to check out if you're in the area.
Simple coffee house. You will not go wrong visiting this place. The prices are some of the best in town and they have legit great coffee. Decided to order their lox bagel for the first time. For under 10 bucks I was sceptical. Turns out it's better than the 20 dollar counterparts at bagel shops. This will be my go to for lox now, as well as coffee. Excellent service and great people. They're always friendly. Thank you simple coffee house for keeping it Simple and delicious 😊
I'm so glad I live near this cute and cozy coffee shop! I've come for dates, hangouts, and work sessions, and it's perfect for all of those. There are plenty of outlets, the pumpkin spiced chai is great (try with oat milk), and the baristas are friendly and speedy. Plus parking is super easy in the plaza, and wifi is excellent.
Chilled ambience, comfortable seating inside, warm almond croissants and delicious cream cheese bagel. Coffee is ok, too bitter for my taste, needs more acid notes, bug bear: no ceramic cups for sit in.
I had an eggnog latte that absolutely changed my life. The staff is so sweet and welcoming. I will be back.
Friendly and helpful service! Got their new Earl Grey boba drink with almond milk. Was pleasantly surprised that it tasted a lot like Fruit Loops cereal milk, which I love! I would have given it 5 stars but their boba hard. If they improve their boba, I won't have to drive to Kearny Mesa or Rolando for a boba drink ever again.
great lox better than alot of other place in the area
Had coffee and Sandwiches for my breakfast, both were soooo good. So glad I chose them over Starbucks.
