I had the coconut explosion iced, it was good. My girlfriend had the iced cinnamon latte and I believe there was no coffee in it 😬 Otherwise they would have gotten 5 stars.

Workers chit chat more than do their job. We had to remind them of our order after 15 minutes waiting while they were on their phones.

I want to like this place and support small business, but every time I come I’m disappointed:/ The pastries and breakfast croissants when warmed up are flimsy floppy with no crispy goodness as desired. Today I ordered the cold brew and was rudely mistaken. Tastes like poorly watered down iced coffee. I only gave it 2 stars because I enjoy the decor and vibe. Hope they can step it up on the food/drink quality. I’ll be going to Dark Horse from now on.

Nice place with nice music to have a coffee or other drinks. I recommend the White Strawberry Mocha! Great flavor!

Subterranean’s food is good and drinks are ok at best. Their non-coffee drinks are better than the coffees. They have the cleanliness of CBGBs. Here’s an idea for a sign you could use.

Quiet space with good wifi, decent food and nice staff. I'll be back.

I love that is a very different kind of coffee place. Pets are welcome. I was actually surprised that my breakfast sandwich on a bagel was delicious. Service was ok. Maybe smile a little bit more. Everything was great. Definitely will come back.

A lot of seating and cool vibe. The internet was not so good if you want to work here. The staff was nice but the drink was too sweet.

Very cool place. I actually only went there too use the Printwithme printer that was placed inside the cafe.

I’ll say, the coffee here is really good. However, we waited 40 minutes for our americano and two vegan bagels. I understand that the cafe was busy and mistakes happen, but when we approached them, the girl at the counter simply said, “it’ll be out in a minute” and turned back around, even though we’d expressed our long wait time. The girl handing out the coffees, was rolling her eyes throughout as she handed people their drinks (and I definitely had enough time to observe this, considering we waited for 35-40 minutes at the counter). Had the staff been apologetic or at least smiled at us, we would’ve been more understanding. Not the best customer service on a Saturday morning.

Old school funky and eclectic coffee shop. Friendly staff, good coffee. Love that they have vegan options.

So glad I checked this place out! I ordered the lox bagel and it was delicious. They are generous with the lox and it was made perfectly. It was super filling. For $9.50 it was a great price. The parking lot in the back was closed but I found street parking right across the back lot. People working here are incredibly friendly and it seems like they have a lot of regulars. Most bad reviews on this page are about a long wait and it's true, it does take a while even when it is not busy. So don't come if you are in a hurry. It took 20 minutes to get my bagel but it was worth it!

I LOVE the peanut butter mochas here and the experience/customer service has always been great! They also have gluten-free donuts here that are yummy! Not sure if they are prepared near thingd with gluten, but I haven't seemed to have any issues and I am failry sensitive.

Love their british latte! We can tell they’re definitely on a busy end so no latte art for us but the coffee taste is still 👌🏼👌🏼 my husband got the white blackberry mocha and it was also rich in taste and aroma. For the food, we tried their pan de sal and lox bagel. If you’re Filipino and grew up with pan de sal, their pan de sal sandwich will be a nostalgic one for you! Can’t get more Filipino than a scrambled egg with tomato and spam! Their lox bagel was delicious too. I was hesitant to try anything fishy while I’m sipping on a delicious cup of coffee but if you love fish, bagel and cream cheese, this is it!

Super yummy lox bagel! Generous with the cream cheese and lox. The price point is great too ($10). Most other places charge more and skimp on the fish or spread. Ordered online and was ready when I got there. Will definitely come back!

They charge $7 per coffee because they know that once you taste it, you'll never want to come back. At least that was the case with the ice blended "Horchatte" and Caramel frappes. Atmosphere is pretty cool though and the baristas were kind and working hard, the store just has bad-tasting beans and drink mixes.

Costco bagels and bacon that take amazingly too long and were cold when we got them. Buy another toaster.

Delightful, low key place w a great menu. Always very polite and friendly. Cool art, a pinball machine, and local jewelry for sale. Def worth a stop, try the Laura Palmer!

Not the best experience. They take 30mins to get your coffee when Starbucks takes maximum of 5 mins. Others were getting their orders when I had order before them… never coming back

Vibe wise, it’s hands down my favorite coffee shop to work at. I like the coffee and stuff, but I’m a great source for that since I like most coffee. The staff is always friendly and there are plenty of outlets. This cafe is definitely setup for people to come and work from. My only complaint are the hours…. There is NO late night cafe in NorthPark, the closest is Lestat’s. If only they would consider staying open later :/
