I just bought an açaí bowl for almost $10 and they didn’t even manage to give at least half the little bowl…. Ridiculous. I woul give 0 but I can’t
Great spot for Coffee and a Burrito before work!! Thanks Ryan and Staff
A wide variety of cold brews (and cold teas) on tap. They’ll blend flavors together too. Love the ambiance and the staff is friendly.
One of my favorite coffee shops, multiple kinds of cold brew just off the trolley… my kinda joint
This place is one of a kind. The atmosphere alone is unique and the staff was very friendly/knowledgeable. We were totally indecisive so the barista gave us samples of multiple great recomendations. Green coffee beans!? Never had and it was a great flavor. The selling point was "grandma ryan", who was soo kind and helpful, the sweetest old lady who seemed very proud of her grandsons coffee shop.
A nice place for every-day-person casual coffee. The seating arrangement was interesting and it took unusually long for my order to be completed. With all that noted, I wouldn't mind going back.
Went and grabbed their mexican mocha. It was super watery, and could barely taste the coffee. Coffee not good, but superb service the barista was extra nice.
So far my experience has been good I will continue on to try items on their menu.. I like that they have Growlers to fill cold brew... I think that's pretty awesome. I was able to find Ethiopian coffee my favorite... I ordered a caramel mocha iced coffee with oat milk the balance of the cold brew and the oat milk and everything came out just great not sweet not bitter just perfect ... the hubby ordered white mocha with oat milk which was super awesome.over all great place to pick up some coffee..
got a regular coffee, but it must have been at the bottom of the pot for a while ... it tasted burned, or something; it wasn't drinkable.... i was on main st.
Great place I always come here For my Mexican Mocha. Always perfection. BUT this last Tuesday I stopped by for not one but two Mexican mochas the girl who was there did a HORRIBLE job with the coffees. Tastes more like cold chocolate from packets. I didn’t realized till I was home such a bummer. Hope next time she doesn’t touch my coffees.
We went on the Caffeine Crawl this morning. Our first stop is Ryan Bros Coffee. The experience was amazing, Tom gave us a full instruction of Coffee bean roasting. We got to know about their process and how they produced their roasted beans. We also tried their green coffee which was pretty impressive. It tasted like mint green tea. If you come to try their drinks, you can check if they have the green coffee in the store.
nice, cozy, relaxed, friendly the mocha coffee was good
This place has charm and culture! Spend some time and enjoy their atmosphere. It's rich.
Ordered an iced tea and genuinely thought they gave me the wrong drink. It looked like water with a drop of food coloring and tasted like very watered down concentrate. After confirming that this was in fact just a standard unsweetened black tea, I tried two others, both of which tasted like a stray coffee bean made it into the brew. Very odd experience. If you like any kind of tea, this is not the place for you.
A hidden jewel in barrio logan. I've never been to such an amazing coffee shop. Great atmosphere, good prices, excellent service. If you want to have a great morning coffee and breakfast this is the place to be. Parking outside, lots of seating, I love how they got tvs to watch sports!! Their breakfast burritos are delicious!!! Their coffee smells and tastes great!! This place deserve 10 stars!!!
A friend came here yesterday and told me about it, here I am. I drove more than 10 miles to check it out. Absolutely fantastic! I had the raceway cold brew and a chorizo burrito. Their salsa was also incredible, just the right amount of heat.
Delicious! We loved their breakfast burritos.
The coffee was fine, don't get me wrong but this place needs to work on their customer service skills. All I wanted was a cup of coffee with my lunch but I only get half an hour for my meal. I arrived around 1:25pm and there was a total of three people inside the place who had already been waited on. I walked in at the same time as another customer and together we waited for a good seven minutes just to be acknowledged. We thought we'd be acknowledged after talking to each other about what was on the menu or if either of us had been there before. It was our first visit to Ryan Brothers (and after this visit, I think it will be my last). When the gentleman behind the counter finally turned around, he merely looked at us and turned around again. After another couple minutes, the associate finally took our order and waited 12 minutes until he got around to making my coffee. He acted as though placing an order was an inconvenience to him and didn't seem like he wanted to wait on us. Would it have hurt to at least say "oh, hi ladies, I'll be right with you" and then finish whatever you were doing, even if it was just staring into space? Even though the coffee was good, waiting almost my entire half hour lunch for it by someone who couldn't have the decency to say hello or thank you wasn't worth it.
Been buying Ryan Brother's coffee since forever! Great atmosphere and tasty baked goods!
The coffee is really good. The food is okay. We got chorizo burritos that didn't look like they were made with chorizo it was light pink in color and very bland.
