Beautiful little cute spot, perfect for enjoying coffee. We tried the crème brûlée and vanilla latte and they were both good. The vanilla flavor wasn’t as strong as I’d typically like, but that’s just a personal choice. They have a nice small and quiet patio in the back, ideal for doing some work or studying.

Been ordering coffee from Mostra since they were first founded, and meant a lot to finally visit in person! Their crème brûlée lattes are something special (wife went with turon) and their one-Brazilian coconut cold brew was super tasty.

Excellent Kenya pour over and very creative cold brew and latte concoctions. Warning: Vietnamese coffee is very sweet.

Very nice hidden gem. One of the best latte I had in SD. The Ube latte was also great.

Visited here 3 days in a row on our trip to California! The baristas were fast and very helpful recommending places for us to visit! I’ll be dreaming of the cookie butter latte back in Virginia 😅

Wifi sucks to work here unfortunately. Good lattes but not worth $7 to not even have wifi…

The crème brûlée latte is amazing but there are just limited seat in the shop and they are not comfortable for work as well.

A bit dissapointing. The place is nice however service was slow as it tooks about 25 min to get my coffee after I ordered (I could have been unlucky but...) Coffee seems ok but the milk was clearly too hot, which burnt the milk. At nealry 6 USD for a flat white, we must expect better.

Here’s the thing. The coffee here is amazing. Hand crafted and great roasts. And the people who work there are so nice and Friendly and they seem to really enjoy their job. However!!!!!! They are just mad slow. It’s not unusual for you to wait 30 mins for a coffee. (I usually order an oat-milk latte) I support this spot, and the people who work there. But I just walked in there and saw a room FULL of people give me the look “turn around! We have been waiting so long for a coffee!” So we did. We went to a spot 5 mins down the road. I will be going back, just probably not in the morning. They seem to not staff well during their busy times. REVIEW UPDATE: I went back to this cafe. My husband (a professional efficiency monitor) concluded the gentleman with a mustache and tatts is VERY fast an efficient. The rest seem to be not picking up the learning curve fast enough, or they are on their phones just messing up the bar flow. Do with this info what you wish. REVIEW UPDATE #2: Online orders. They do an influx of online orders and their is not a designated person to do the orders. It seems the online orders take precedence over the in location orders. The online orders “jump the line “ so to speak.

In town for a work conference and made sure to come by Mostra to try their coffee and to bring a bag of coffee home. Baristas were friendly and extremely helpful. Really pumped to brew the beans I purchased when I get him.

Friendly staff! This batista took his time to make my coffee nice and special. I appreciate it! Had trouble connecting to their wifi.

Mediocre and overpriced: they continue to jack up prices, $5.50 for ten ounces of cold brew, $7-8 for most hot drinks makes this the most expensive coffee shop in San Diego, and the quality is dramatically lower than Blue Bottle or James coffee. Not worth it

Smaller location and it gets a bit tight. The drinks are really good and the overnight oats are surprisingly tasty.

I had only been to Mostra's location in Carmel Mountain, and I gotta say I like the vibe and service of this one a lot more. The time we went wasn't super busy, so the drinks were on point, and the baristas were very attentive. It was nice to sit, drink some espresso and read. Some people were working, some hanging out, so it's a good place for different activities too.

Please put the Bibingka back on the Uber Eats menu!!! It is the best drink, I’m so sad I can’t get it anymore :(
