Small place with nice raised patio over the sidewalk. I get my beans from them.

Unfortunately my experience was in line with others who have commented on less-than-friendly staff. Cashier I dealt with has no sense of customer service and was plain rude. I've never been spoken to by a worker anywhere the way I was here. I ordered a latte and asked for fat free or low fat milk. Was told they do not carry this but for $1 more I could get oat or almond milk. I said something along the lines of "wow, really? ok, I'll stick to whole milk", added that they should consider getting the other low fat options, and I moved on. That set him off and he went on about what was my purpose in saying this to him, he's the one who has to deal with me, he's dealt with me before and I am always difficult... He was still carrying on about it minutes later. My purpose in saying this, of which I did tell him, was that it's customer feedback and as an employee at the establishment he has the ability to go back to manager/owners and relay feedback. As for "dealing with me before"... I have never been to this coffee shop before that day (he argued with me on this too). I am a newer local and had every intention of being a repeat customer, but after this experience I will not be. I've worked behind a counter before, I know what the job entails. I know people can be annoying and frustrating, but this is not how you respond to or treat any customer especially not over a suggestion. All that said, drinks are fine but overpriced (~$6, $7 if you don't want whole milk...). Baristas were fine. One did chime in but hardly did anything to diffuse the situation. Overall not a good experience which is a shame because it's a cute spot and down the road from me. Plenty of other local coffee shops with friendly employees to support.

Stylish espresso bar with great coffee, friendly service and trendy merchandise. I was impressed with their clever coffee jar recycle program 👏 great work

Ordered a Mexican mocha. Quite possibly the worst coffee drink I've ever had. Turned the corner and had to throw it out. Wasn't even drinkable.

What a lovely coffee experience! Coffee was great and the baristas were very nice and helpful in helping us choose the right coffee for our tastebuds. We got the condensed milk latte and the honey cinnamon latte, they were both great. The pastries were flakey and delicious! Will definitely come back next time we visit San Diego, thank you!

A true local shop! Lots of regulars, and they have a super cool coffee cup reuse program. Their espresso tonic was the best I’ve ever had, hands down (they use real vanilla bean)

If you like coffee that doesn't taste burnt and bitter, this is the place for you! Coffee here is so smooth that when you have a latte, you think, does this have coffee in it? Then suddenly you notice you can't stop talking, and this new found extraversion points to caffeine. Introvert seal of approval. You can leave a deposit of 1.50 to get a reusable jar with a koozie, and every time you come in you give it to them and they give you your drink in a new one, or you can give it back and get your deposit back. It's a great way to stop using plastic! Love! It's a cute small space, not a lot of seating. I've ordered the Coffee with Condensed milk and Nutmeg, which was absolutely delicious, and the Mexican Mocha, which had a little twist of spice! The drinks were not too sweet, which I personally like. They have basic espresso based coffees and a variety of flavors both hot and cold. Food wise not a lot of variety, mostly a small assortment of croissants and cookies or such. I come here sometimes with friends to catch up, and every time I do I wish I lived closer so it could be my go-to coffee spot. I do have a friend who drives 20 mins every day just to get coffee from here, I feel like that says it all lol Come get you some good coffee!

I’ve only been here twice and the Coffee is good unfortunately I can’t say the same for the staff. It’s just manners.

I love the jars! I got to try the iced mocha and hot vanilla latte. Both were served in a jar with lid and koozie. That part is optional but we have one earth! Iced mocha was not aggressive in flavor, and dark chocolate, not sweet like other places. Perfect! The hot latte was also delicious and foamy. Service by the pair working wad wonderful and price was fairly standard for these days

Good coffee and lots of outdoor seating. I appreciate that they actually serve the drinks in mugs or glasses. They have almond milk and oat milk for $1 extra and their mocha is dairy-free (dark chocolate).

Really cool location and nice patio to sit and watch the cars go by. I like you can use glass instead of plastics!
