I’ve been here many times and I was going to write a review and read the previous review from “dr mini me” and I just wanna say that I have been greeted kindly every instance I have come into this coffee shop. Even during the peak of their rush hours, the employees greet the customers adequately and put care into making sure every order comes out how it was intended. I’m gonna direct the reminder of this review to “dr tiny pee pee”: no one cares how much money u make and how much u pay in taxes. From what I read from your review, you come off like an entitled, miserable person and I am toning down my words so that this review doesn’t get taken down. It sounds like the employees u refer to were being courteous and letting you know that your order may take a little while to make given how busy the store was. If you have such a hard time of dealing with people just because you have some absurd expectation of how service workers need to be treating you, maybe do everyone a solid and just make your coffee at home, I’m sure their store will do just fine without your business. I really recommend this shop to everyone, I usually get quad shot lattes and they make it perfectly every time. The milk is frothed to perfection and has a silky smooth finish, they also have a lot of different flavors from which I’ve tried a few. Highly recommend the Hillcrest, hazelnut, and mocha.

You really can't ask for a better coffee shop. The only thing better than the coffee is the staff! Add in good food (variety of food restriction options) and full shelves of delicious snacks, coffee beans, mixes and cute decor to buy and you've got yourself a 5 star coffee shop.

This review is long overdue for a place that’s often a highlight of my day. The drinks are consistently good, with my favorite being the badass. They also have great housemade flavor mixes to add to your coffee at home. The best part about Industrial Grind, though, is the staff. Everyone here is so warm and seeing them always brightens my day. As a response to Shannon’s review, my husband and I were actually the couple that she thought the staff was mocking. They were referencing us talking about our socially awkward dog and how she’s just like us. We know everyone here really well and are totally fine with them laughing about us and our weird pup. Candice, Isabelle, Rivers, and Sara are an amazing crew, led by the awesome owner Crystal, and Industrial is one of my favorite parts of living in Tierrasanta.

Oof -- Just got an Americano here, and it was all right. Definitely not anything to write home about, and not good enough for me to want to come back. The bad: I came right at closing time, and so some employees in the back thought all customers were gone. They started openly making fun of a pair of customers that just left. Not cool. Be better.

A lovely local spot! They make the best lattes with a wide variety of flavor/sweetness options. Super friendly staff and service is speedy. Love that it’s women-owned and operated. :)

I only had coffee here, so I can’t speak for the pastries (which smelled delicious). The girls behind the counter were very sweet and quick to make my order, so the service was good. But the coffee was terrible. It unfortunately tasted like dirt, which was very disappointing since I love me a cup of black coffee from a local shop. There also isn’t any indoor seating, so don’t come here thinking you can meet a friend for a cozy up of… tea. Or a pastry. But not the coffee.

Great gluten-free treats! The chocolate-zucchini bread is amazing, and their Mexican hot chocolate is delicious. Update: years later, still just as great, yummy gluten-free treats and all. They also had a really yummy drinking chocolate mix with orange flavor the last time I came in; it was delicious! Whenever I am in the area, I want to stop here. It closes fairly early is the only issue- otherwise I would definitely be stopping in more often!
