They have a DJ here at 1am - which is totally against the Oldtown rules! Terrible business practice Keeping the entire neighborhood up

Garden Coffee is quite possibly the most adorable coffee spot I have ever visited. A hidden gem in Old Town, Garden coffee is a delight to discover. Their seating area is a partially covered terrace/patio space, adorned with a multitude of plants and quirky mismatched chairs and tables. (our table was an old uncovered ironing board.) When you order coffee for there, you get to choose your own mug from an array of cups. The space is dog and kid friendly, and the staff warm and cordial. Oh, and my latte was pretty good too. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.

Such a cute place with great coffee and pastries. Plenty of tables to choose from and very friendly staff. I had the dirty chai, sun-dried tomato & pesto babka and lemon lavender muffin. All were so delicious! Definitely going back.

Fake Hype!!! I honestly feel everybody just being nice with the five stars. The outdoor coffee shop is cute. The coffee is not it. I’m from the coffee city of Seattle and if you’re too you probably won’t enjoy the coffee…the coffee is extremely fruity or taste like chocolate milk. Extremely disappointing with all the “Fake Hype” from Social Media

Sweet little hidden gem in down in Old Town. My 15 year old absolutely loves this place; refers to it as “cottage core “ 😍

Such a hidden gem in San Diego. Really cute place for coffee and tea. We had the flight and loved everything we drank. We will definitely be back!

Was surprised there’s no coffee, but the matcha was great! The cashier was very nice and we had a great pop tart too!

After stopping in to Honest Thrift feeling lucky with the fabulous finds on St . Patrick's Day , ☘️ I wandered next store to Garden Coffee and was touched by the care that went into a work of art latte by the barista taking my order. I brought home a bag of their cocoa -hazelnut coffee beans to enjoy at home until my next return visit.☕

Love this place and it’s vibe! They had vegan, GF, and nut free options so both me and my friend who have more allergies than we can count were able to enjoy some gorgeous pastries. All of the options were delicious.

Lovely coffee cafe. Nice seating area but I can’t believe how expensive it was for a small piece of oat/fruit cake thing 🤔 $4.50 for drinks x2 is fine but total bill $18.90 ! Ask before you purchase! My bad !

Such a relaxing place to be. The atmosphere is quiet and calming. It's a coffee shop but I felt so chill it was like being at a spa. Had a steamed oat milk with a caramel syrup shot and I'm going to be dreaming about it until I can come back for another one! Also had a rose and berry pastry that was to die for. Biting into it was no different than putting my nose deep into the most fragrant flower. If you love rose, you've got to get this. Lovely presentation as well. There's also plenty to buy, shirts and totes and such, but what makes this place such a gem is the plants that are for sale. Walked away all smiles after purchasing a succulent to take home and put on my balcony. Come here when you want to escape and feel like you're in heaven for a little bit. *Edited for spelling

Love love love garden coffee. A great place to relax and catch up with a friend or meet new ones. Walking distance to many cute shops and Honest Thrift, their sister business.

Cute coffee shop that has the best coffee and pastries. Beautiful atmosphere and animal friendly. I do my work here all the time and it’s amazing. Plenty of space. The baristas are so nice and friendly and amazing at their jobs. The owner is so kind and always looking to put a smile on your face. 100% best coffee shop in San Diego personally.
