Too loud and distracting. Not a place to sit down and visit with someone. The music was so loud it was almost as if they discourage people from staying. I like the music selection but c'mon, it's not a club. Esp at 0930 in the morning. The nitro cold brew was solid. I'd get it again. My wife had the plain latte she really liked. A little pricey but it does taste better than Starbucks.
Drive thru service is always great.
Our favorite location. Easy to dash in and out. Drinks are consistently correct
the coffee is quite tasty, but the music is so loud that it is not possible to hear the response of the staff, it is not comfortable
Used to love this location but quality isn’t the same.
I didn't visit it I got stuck in the traffic jam due to the poor distribution of their
I'm spoiled by the Better Buzz on Camino Ruiz where the customer service is amazing and the overall vibe is better. This one has all stressed energy and not welcoming. So far they've gotten my drink wrong both times. Is it me? How do I make it clear that I am saying "oat milk" not "whole milk"? Anyone that works there reading this PLEASE HELP I want to support you cause you have way better coffee than Starbucks.
They're normally pretty quick but sometimes they ask you to park in one of the spaces, if they ask that it'll take them FOREVER. But that's only happened a couple of times for me. If they don't ask me to park in a space, my drink is always ready by the time I pull up to the window, so I think that makes up for the few times I have to wait while they brew a new batch or whatever is going on. Atmosphere is lacking since it's right on Miramar road but I've never cared since I always just do the drive thru.
Great coffee and food options. Favorite coffee company in SD.
Found a cute coffee spot! Got a hazelnut mocha coffee, Better than big bucks. They even made coffee art on requested😌
We’ve been going here for a year now and if you have 20-30mins to wait for your coffee than this place is great
Nothing special copycat chain. Not particularly friendly or welcoming vibe. Staff seem stressed out. Pastry did not look fresh by afternoon time. Sold their own T shirts on a rack next to aisle you order coffee, screams desperation “give us your money”. Nitro coffee looks to me like rip off of Starbucks. At least coffee was ok, but that is bare minimum really. Also there is indoor seating (woohoo!), which I was surprised to discover is not universal in coffee places in SD
Got the almond butter and jam toast. Delicious!
No one else in line and had me wait in a parking spot for my drink after I ordered, for 20 min, so much for a drive through service, so bad and waste of a lunch break.
There was literally a bug inside my sandwich 🤢 🤢.
I don't drink coffee but I love tea latte. I've been here several times, usually on a Saturday or Sunday morning, and it's always packed whether you're in the drive-thru or go into the store. when you order on the app, your order always comes out way late -- a couple of times I ordered 5 minutes before getting to the store, and someone who came in and ordered at the counter after me was served before me. It's baffling because there are always half a dozen people behind the counter. They rarely apologize for getting things to you late. I stopped going to Starbucks and it looks like I won't go to this coffee shop anymore either.
Worst Better Buzz in San Diego! Hot water for drinks is not cool!
Good coffee company but just go to the mira Mesa location. This place isn't consistent at all with taste.
I love the playlist they have with funk music. 5/5!
Excellent pumpkin spice drinks. There were actual granules of nutmeg/all spice in the bottom of my pumpkin cold brew cup. Real spice tastes better! Nice strong coffee flavor in the latte too. This is one of my favorite cafes. I miss the avalanche drink (is that what is was called, with a giant 2-inch cube of ice?), but I tend to enjoy every drink I get here. They don't over-sweeten, and they start with a nice, strong, dark-roasted flavor. Pre-pandemic, they only had ~2 locations. I was surprised to now see at least 11 more locations all over San Diego county and was happy there was one close to my hotel. Staff were clearly busy but fairly nice.
