Beautiful location. Its spacious compared to the one in La Jolla and Point Loma. I had the "best coffee ever". Indeed it was!
This is the most beautiful coffee shop! Have been a big Better Buzz fan for years , but when I walked in here, I felt like, this is where I want to be. The layout, design, architecture and music playlist were so perfect for an early morning coffee meetup. Delicious baked goods, great selection. I'll be coming back to work remotely, for sure!
A super place to go and relax and have really good food. They don't rush you out and they work pretty fast. I definitely would go back again.
Good coffee but not an ideal place to study or work. There is too much foot traffic. It is a popular spot among tourists who want to grab nice coffee and hang out casually while posting on their Instagram. The tables by the window are not ergonomically proper for laptop use. There are no outlets to charge your equipment. They can do better than this.
I highly recommend the honey latte and the “best drink ever.” Caffeine is definitely your best friend here. Food came out fast and was very tasty- we got the avocado toast add egg (hard boiled and sliced- yum) and the ham/cheese croissant add egg. The space is beautiful. You can sit at tables, in pillowy booths, upstairs with a view of the coffee bar, or spread out a long the sides by the roasters. The hive and bee 🐝 theme is fun and well done. Plus, who doesn’t love big neon and marquee signs!?
Love the yogurt bowls. They’re not very sick but when your order is ready and CORRECT it’s good.

Was amazed of the atmosphere was a huge area. Service was very good took my order and waited less then two minutes to get my order. Very good.

This better buzz has really great vibes and is awesome for studying. I like coming here and grabbing a decaf Americano to whine down at the end of my afternoon before I walk around in the Hillcrest area.
Super delicious coffee. I get the blended mocha every time and it has so much rich flavor. Beautiful atmosphere Food is okay in a pinch, I go here for the coffee, not the food as much.
This is my favorite coffee place. Everytime I come to SD I need to stop and get a coffee from here! I wish they would expand into LA
Asked for a flat white which should be two shots in at most an 8 ounce cup. I like a full bodied, rich cup of coffee. I was assured, with a bit of attitude, that the batista could make one. Ended up with the standard 12 ounce milky cup of coffee which was good if that's what I asked for.
I love pretty much everything. The place is clean, clear, organized and modern. Coffee is good but a little bit pricey, apart from that, the staff are pretty friendly and helpful! I love going there.
This Better Buzz is just so beautiful and so relaxing. There is so much seating area and a great place to study.
Really busy place. Coffee is mellow. Lots of people working, but it took 15 minutes to get 2 plain black coffees once ordered
I love their drinks and the place is super cute, but their WiFi doesn't work. Came here to get some work done but ended up leaving with $7 less in my bank.
