Decide the only thing that I ever used the cafe for was to plug in my cell phone. But lately I checked out with all about mango basil smoothies I love them. I think they also have a interesting assortment of muffins haven't had much else though.
Some staff are rude, usually there is a mistake on the order and all overpriced for meh food. Go to Sur, better everything including patio.
Had the breakfast burrito soy chorizo.💯
We have stopped here a few times for quite a few different things, food, coffee, a quick drink. We have been underwhelmed. They do have a drive thru which is a plus when you’re in a hurry but the service is not normally in a hurry so I wouldn’t get your hopes up. They of course are nice inside but the coffee orders have been wrong almost every time. They taste watered down and just not up to standard with other shops that sell coffee in addition to being a small cafe. It’s OK for what it is and the location.
The gals behind the counter genuinely seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else so service was just okay. We ordered 2 coffees and a chorizo burrito. The burrito was delicious and big enough to share but our coffees were horrible. I asked for drip coffee with almond milk and sugar. Pretty sure it was just drip coffee and was luke warm. My husband's latte on the other hand was lava hot for an hour and didn't taste at all like a "pecan dream" 🤣 We would skip this spot for coffee, but breakfast is probably a safe bet.
This is an institution in San Clemente and a must stop for your Morning coffee and breakfast if you are in the area. Lattes are a generous size and you will also find a nice selection of homemade muffins including gluten free options ( the lemon blueberry is delicious). Breakfast burritos are available all day. Wi-Fi is fast and free for 2 hours so you can also come and work from there. Parking is easy and shared with Ralphs and outside seating is also available. If you are in a rush, drive-thru is also an option.
Coffee sucked. No flavor at all. Muffins were great. Wished the coffee was too. Clean and great service.
Definitely, a place to consider as a 3rd Space. Plugs/outlets are easily available. A great place to meet, study, read, and chill.
Nice place. Comfy pillows for your back. Great coffee. Amazing bagels.
Nice little coffee shop. They have a drive thru which is nice feature for those who might be in a rush if there is no line. Ordered a breakfast burrito, which was good and iced coffee. Took a little bit to get my food. I didn't like that they charged an extra $1 for less ice.
While heading home, hubby and I needed a little pick-me-up before our drive. I Googled coffee cafés near our location, which was in San Clemente, and various places popped up. The one that caught my eye the most was Zebra Coffee House. I mean, the name itself is very intriguing and just made me curious. So we went for it! When we arrived, we noticed that they have a drive-thru; you know I love a good drive-thru. It’s very convenient, you don’t have to get out of the car, and it’s just easy peasy! It was already perfect! I When we went to the drive-thru, their menu is pretty interesting. It had different coffee options and other beverages that sounded really fun. Additionally, they offer healthy food choices which are kind of hard to get out of a drive-thru. We placed our order and I went with an avocado toast, and hubby went with a Hoagie. For drinks, he got his iced vanilla latte and for me, instead of getting a coffee, I decided to get this really fun drink called a lavender cloud. After we ordered, we were asked to pull up to the front to park which made sense because I know that those food items are gonna take a little while to prepare. We waited for maybe 10 minutes. My avo toast was really good and hubby's sandwich was really good. He also enjoyed his coffee. My drink had a unique taste to it. It wasn’t gross but it wasn’t good but it was still satisfying. That probably doesn’t make any sense but I did finish it and I’m glad I tried something new. if we’re ever back in San Clemente, I will definitely return and try some other unique drinks. Thank you zebra house coffee.
Food and coffee are great, but over priced. Why do I have to pay $1 to add lettuce on my breakfast sandwich.
San Clemente's best Coffee/Breakfast! GREAT Staff.
Their Irish cold brew I had yesterday is AMAZING Their iced vanilla latte today… not so much. Tasted like like vanilla creamer. And shots taste a little light. BUT I heard it is usually good. After a few more minutes. Definitely tastes like French vanilla. but not the creamer one. Shots just need to be adjusted and I’d say it’s good.
They have great gluten free muffins which is mainly why I go there. Overall, coffee and food is good. Staff is friendly and they get orders right. So I like this place a lot as a go to when I'm in the neighborhood.
I love this place, but do miss the feel of the original decor.
Needed to get some work done and found this little place. Really cool atmosphere and good service as well. They have an option to use a ordering system instead of waiting 8n line to talk to one of the employees so if you are in a rush there's always that option. Really nice layout and they even have art for sell. Wifi is free for 2 hours with email address. This is a nice lay act place to have a drink and snack to meet up or get work done. Check it out if you get the chance
Look, I am TRYING to avoid the big chains, but, you guys aren't making it easy. The coffee I got today was AWFUL. What's the deal, man? Tasted nasty and the creamer was chunky. I really want to support y'all, but don't chase me away.
Kosco kid made the experience great! Always good to start off the day with a friendly smile and a good cup of coffee.
Espresso is super bitter. I ordered a latte and they filled the cup with a tap? Rather than making espresso. And then my vegan burrito had no tater tots, literal cold vegan cheese that wasn’t melted, beans which isn’t on the menu , and fake meat which wasn’t on the menu as well. I don’t like soyrizo at all I wouldn’t of ordered it if I would have known. Also I thought it was real meat I had to call them to ask what the random meat stuffs in my burrito was . What a waste of money
