I have a complaint about this place. I have been to this place at least six times, and the last four times, I have ordered the same items. However, every time the price is different. It seems every cashier charges whatever they want, which is annoying. I once asked one cashier why he was charging me that amount, and he said, “Sorry, I charged you wrong,” and he had to refund me. I just find it annoying, I don’t have this problem at any other coffee places.

Classic hipster coffee roaster , a pleasant and expected vibe. for some reason the only light roast they had was espresso. This has happened at quite a few roasters I’ve been to while visiting southern CA on business , so maybe light roast just isn’t the popular roaster fare here unlike in northern CA or the northeast?
This coffee shop is a ligit roaster!! These guys know how to put out a great product with great service! Just wish they could share the love a little more with the bags- 10oz just isn't enough...

Coffee is absolutely fantastic! I had a simple oat milk latte, and chocolate chip cookie :) So yummy and the atmosphere was chill so I brought my laptop so I could get a lot of work done!
Finally made it to Sur and wasn’t disappointed. Guy working was chill and friendly, liked the vibes inside. CafeL latte and chai latte were both delicious. The chai was flavorful and not too sweet. Will definitely be back!
Fantastic. Truly the best coffee shop I've frequented in San Clemente. The baked goods are phenomenal and the coffee drinks are perfectly made. What more could you want in a coffee shop?

Way overpriced for a tiny cup of matcha. Theres only one size 6oz-and poor customer service- not to mention the worst Matcha we’ve ever had, both Zebra House Coffee and Bear Coast down bye the San Clemente Pier have much better customer service and hospitality, location is obviously solid, btw Oatmilk is an additional $1 for each cup for non-dairy people-why? Smallest cup of bitter-a-macha for $7!!

Love the blend of coffee roast here, best in S OC, excellent breakfast menu, loved the savory scone/biscuit (takes like a bacon and cheese omelette with generous amounts of cheese) and their ham and cheese croissant! This is the only coffee roaster in California that has an awesome decaf blend ❤️ the lattes are made consistently every single time (perfect ratio of espresso and milk at the perfect temperature). Always comes with foam on top and latte art. The employees here make this place extremely special and are amazing every single time we come.
They roast the coffee beans on site. We ordered a cortado and an oatmeal cookie. The cortado was very good and the oatmeal cookie was thick, chewy and delicious! There is plenty of seating including sidewalk seating in front of the shop and patio seating behind the shoo as well as indoor seating. Something for everyone! 😊
I believe the barista was Chris - dude is an actual incredible human. The coffee was pretty good. It had a pretty great taste. I ordered an iced vanilla latte half sweet to make sure we could taste the beans and my fiancé ordered the brown sugar latte (hot). Overall it was a great experience. We’d definitely come back when visiting. The main reason for the 5 main star review was their CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE. Best cookie we’ve ever had!!!

I have been going to Sur for awhile now and they have some of the best coffee in town. I do love each shop in town for specific reasons because they all do something so wonderfully, but sur has amazing beans which makes amazing drinks. They don’t have a ton of pastries but the ones that they do are delicious and pair well with their drinks.
