The coffee is every bit delicious and the breakfast sandwich was scrumptious! I had a white chocolate mocha with almond milk and the Capitol Sunrise with smoked cheddar. Fantastic.
30 minutes passed from the moment we entered the coffee shop to the moment we received the coffee. The staff takes a LONG time to do everything. The coffee is very mediocre.

In a nutshell; Pretty good place to stop by and enjoy some grilled cheeze sandwiches and coffee. Seems to be tucked at a rather hidden area which was quite a surprise when my sister told me about it. They have quite a vast choice for grilled cheeze all of which sound rather scrumptious. Our order didnt take too long to come out which was a plus. Got the kitchen sink grilled cheeze order which was great. Though I must admit, the bread was a bit more on the burnt side than the toasty side for my liking, the sandwich was still well made blending a great mix of savory and sweetness so every bite was a welcome treat. The drink was great as well. They had a matcha lavender type of drink special which tasted great and the flavor was well concocted. Ambience of the place was that of vintage stuff even sporting a really old Mac computers tucked in one of the corners. Parking may prove rather difficult if it ever gets busy in the area which is a warning to future dwellers. Overall place was great. Would go again.
I absolutely love this coffee house, the smell of the grilled cheese makes it irresistible. Dell paso isn't the best location but this is I will say one of the best coffee places I've been to thus far. I am a coffee connoisseur, and this coffee shop is ran by coffee connoisseurs lol oh I love this place. I absolutely love this place now if you look on my Google reviews, I'll go to Many coffee places this one is hands-down the best. I'll be back I told them I'm now a new regular to the establishment.

This place is a GEM! The first time I came in I got a latte and it was so good! The next time I got the capitol sunrise and WOW it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be stopping by in the future again!! 10/10 coffee and sandwiches
Loved this place. Very neat and cozy, owner is extremely kind and friendly. It's the perfect place to grab breakfast and coffee. I tried the O.D.bee drink and the firehouse 20 sandwich, both were delicious... Like mouth-watering delicious.
Delicious as always. I travel alot and every time I'm in Sacramento I make it a point to stop by here for a sandwich and a coffee. The owner is doing everything right and keeps the quality consistent and the staff do just as much. I'll be back!
Husband travels through Sacremento often and said this was a must stop. Delicious coffee and best grilled cheeses you will ever eat. We had the Bay Area Brisket and the Cheesy Italian, and both were top notch. Even chatted with the owner for a while. Amazing food and great atmosphere, and Angel was a fantastic batista.

Stopped in to grab some coffee before heading to Aftershock. The coffee was only outshined by the extremely kind and friendly staff. They made us feel very welcome, engaging in conversation about their brewing process. They recently switched to all manual brewing and let me tell you, what a worthy venture. The espresso was incredible. We got the fall special, a salted caramel toffee latte. The toffee was a perfect compliment to the espresso roast. Cannot recommend Shift Coffee House enough! We will be coming back next time we are in town for sure!
