I really enjoy the coffee here but every time I come I feel like I bothered the staff. Ordering has consistently felt uncomfortable and several friends have agreed. I try my best avoid Mast coffee because I usually leave feeling bad.
This place is a rip off. I order a drip coffee for in house and the cup was very small. The coffee was poured from some sort of canister and it wasn't even hot. I came in at 7:30 on a Sunday, the coffee should be hot. They charged me $4.50 for the larger size. I took only a couple sips and asked for a to go cup so I could heat it up at home and it didn't even fill up half of the to go cup. This is how I know the for here cup was not an equivalent size. I write them to tell them about my issue and they do not even respond, to correct this before I wrote this! It's been a week. Will never ever, ever go back here and I recommended this place to friends. Also the customer service is not very welcoming.

Espresso was just ok. Really loud, bad music (Dave Matthews Band, Cranberries ... basically 90s singles that have not aged well). Space neither that interesting nor comfortable. The good: the avo toast was better than average.
The coffee here is great and turned my morning around. Super nice employees. Excited to hear they’re expanding.

Nicely designed coffee shop right off of Broadway. Just opened 3 weeks ago. Good vibes, good people, and good coffee. Pastries by Faria! Update 09/2022 Been coming back a lot this past year. Service always great, fixed me up an Americano when drip wasnt hot enough for me. And had Radiohead on the background, always a plus!

Three comments here: - 5 stars for matcha and my husband loves the coffee here. - 5 stars for pastries because anything from Faria bakery is bomb. - 2 stars for the breakfast sandwich which doesn't have the right mix of texture- the egg and bread is just soft on soft. Would not order this again.

The mocha was pretty good, but unfortunately, we will not be returning because they only accept credit cards and not cash. They should offer both options. We would be a regular customer if they did accept cash.
Food quality has greatly decreased. $14 for a breakfast sandwich that is a pinch or onions bread and one egg. Coffee is overpriced and quality is also terrible. The espresso is bitter, no creme, pulled too fast and too hot.
I enjoyed the atmosphere when I came here to meet a friend. Quiet, just how I like, I could read a book for awhile. And then nice to sit and talk, too. Will definitely come more often.
Best coffee shop in Sacramento. Staff are always amazing and super chill. The vibe in the shop is perfect for hanging out with friends or getting some quick work done. Coffee and food tastes amazing. They also have these awesome call pods in the back if you need somewhere quiet. I think they have a meeting room as well.

They make excellent coffee. The small selection of food is great. The coffee beans are often a week or more old though. Great place to get some work done. Effectively zero people wearing masks.
