Great for finding coffee I like
In my opinion, Chocolate fish has the best lattes in Sacramento.
When you travel specifically to sample a roaster with a great reputation and all the reports are true. Great coffee and atmosphere.
I saw the name of this coffee shop and I just had to check it out 😃. I love chocolate and coffee - so win-win here. The place is very modern feeling with nice vista-like decorations on the walls. There is a huge coffee roasting machine which definitely adds a sense of where we are. They have the standard set of drinks that one would expect in a coffee shop, they are quite good and have good attention to detail; nice latte art and a good coffee flavor. There are a number of pastries on display, including actual chocolate fish as a homage to the name of the place. They have a number of types of toasts as well so this is a good place to enjoy a coffee and some other tasty food bite to start off the day. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, in fact the outside patio has a lot of character to it and looks very comfortable to sit with friends or a lover and enjoy a relaxing time sipping your favorite drink. The service was excellent and the baristas were very friendly and accommodating. They had no problem with special requests that I had.
Popped in had a great latte and tea with a a delicious cookie and of course a chocolate fish great service would definitely recommend
There's no other 21 coffee shop in the region that competes with chocolate fish.
Great place with great coffee. My oat milk latte was delightful, and I appreciated seeing cold brew ice cubes in their cold brew drink!
I love this coffee shop. The people are friendly and service is great.
I live close to this place so I keep giving it another chance. The service is always SLOW and usually very sterile. Even going in expecting my regular latte to take a while to be made, I always leave frustrated with how long it took. The coffee isn't good enough to justify the experience of trying to get it.
The best coffee shop in Sacramento, period. Their coffee is brewed to perfectection, the toasts are well seasoned and decorated, and I love the space as well! There's only street parking, so do prepare for that as the lot is often full.

This has been my local coffee spot for a year now. Delicious coffee, nice atmosphere and lovely staff. They make me smile!

It's hard to NOT find avocado toast on a menu these days, but the one at Chocolate Fish is the best. Also love the iced almond milk latte. Great espresso.
Coffee was good, my avocado toast was amazing! Totally worth the 6.50$, heck I'd go back for the food alone
Lovely location, parking in back and centrally located in a lot of shopping across the street from vintage bookstore. Just nice chill music and professional, calm service. Coffee is spectacular
This place makes the best lattes hands down. They are artists at coffee.Small menu but delicious food. Avocado toast is yum.
The coffee was excellent. Super happy with both the items we got (cold brew and pour over Peruvian). The atmosphere was very nice. Loved the Aotearoa artwork. Service was very professional. The one pastry we tried was tasty though rather dry. That's the only negative thing I have to say about the place. Everything else was great.
