The best coffee I've ever had in California. the place is beautiful and the people are friendly.
My favorite coffee! Foods is ok but not great. Atmospher is stuff. Everyone is on computer like zombies so not socializing.
really good, strong coffee. the staff is nice and the coffee is good. I dont like that the coffee isn't always consistent depending on who makes it, but it's still good.
I'm starting to love their coffee and interesting spices: mint, nutmeg, cinnamon. The burritos were good too. The pretzel ham croissant was excellent. Staff are pretty nice if you're nice to them...they keep reaally busy so please be nice. I'm looking forward to coming back here again!
I like Philz, but I still haven't found a coffee there that I like. I'm a light roast kind of girl, so the decaf is a little heavy for me, and I still have 2 more of the light roasts to try. Unfortunately, the person across from me was a no show. :(
I guess the preferences would vary from person to person. I found it to be less flavourful compared to other coffee shops in the city. The strengty of brew supersedes any flavor in the latte. I for one like the vanilla latte regardless of the brand. I could hardly see any flavor on my coffee. The taste and flavor was very similar to a regular latte!
You have to be star-NUTS not to come into Philz coffee like seriously good cafeina
clean fast service coffee it's very good
Better than starbucks haha. Philz is more for the coffee lover. Less for the posers. If you genuinely like coffee, choose philz over the starbucks.
Wide variety of coffees! Cozy ambiance and friendly staff! Delicious coffee!
Philz makes such good coffee! We stopped in to get two bags of coffee because we don't have a Philz where we live. Didn't disappoint!
Great tasting coffee and friendly baristas!
Amazingly nice people and delicious coffee. Anyone in Redwood City should stop there . You will be happy you did .
Visited in July - while on a business trip (travelling from Ireland), my colleague insisted we go, as he had been before. He wasn't wrong! The only thing better than the service, was the coffee!
Loved the philtered coffee here ! It has a nice vibe
You can find fresh coffee always.
Every coffee is individually ground and brewed. They have many varieties of beans... It was really good coffee and good service. We had aromatic Arabic.
Good coffee, but at this location, they’re always slammed and sometimes they forget your order. Be patient when you come here. I hope management sees this and fixes their operations. Shouldn’t take me 15 minutes to get a coffee each time I come here…
This is a report to the owners of the place! Please take a minute to read it. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service from a manager that I received today at 4:45pm at this location. Manager refused to give me his name(he wears glasses and ear ring in the left ear) hope you can backtrack this. I ordered TooGoodToGo pickup today in advance. Was driving to this place in a good mood hoping to, as it says there: fight food waste with you, and got there on time for pickup, parked my car and paid for parking, went in, mentioned that I have that pickup order and in addition ordered coffee from the register. Manager came to me and said that he is not going to help me with my TooGoodToGo order that they are out of it. Then I said that I only got here for this, and asked is there at least an option to use this order ($3.99) instead of a refund to just give me coffee for that as a thank you for getting here and wasting my time. He said that he will not do it, I asked couple times politely that it was my time and money and not my fault that this location does not update things on the third party app that you use. He refused to cooperate at all. And he said to me “good bye you can go now”, I asked his name he refused to give it to me (and this is manager here?) He was not at all kind or friendly during the whole interaction, just got defensive from the start. He was not rude, but definitely not emphatic or helpful… Really you care more about $4 cup of coffee when it is not your customers fault instead of your brand name? I hope it gets to the right person! I’m so frustrated with this situation. And argument that it is a third party service is so fake.. if I was part of the team at the location I’d try to prevent such experience for customers or at least apologize with a cup of coffee for the time and money wasted to get there. And I get it end of shift, 10 mins before closing, bad mood? Should it affect communication skills and customer service? No…
Updating, I have to say they have a good job smoothing out their traffic and the logistics of managing phone orders with drop ins. And I still love their iced ecstatic! Lines are too long, but the iced coffees are superior.
