Food was really good and for a great price, overall a great place to eat!!
Halfway between Sacramento and Medford we found this diner by very happy accident. They have amazing desserts the lemon bars are probably the best I have ever had. Their carrot cake was superb. We usually leave with 4-5 boxes full of treats to take home. Let's not forget about the rest of the menu though. Excellent food everytime, they have zucchini fries and stuffed baked potatos just to name a few and we always manage to get the same waitress who is just wonderful. Definitely worth the stop.
Staff very friendly! Food ? Not going to say much other than first and last time there. Pries posted on line are not current.
Had the avocado toast and it was very tasty. Service was pleasant and they thanked us for being patient because they were short on staff. Overall very enjoyable!
Not good at all. We got reuben sandwiches. The bread was soggy and cold. My husband went in to use the bathroom and there was a man in there shaving and washing his body. The staff was super friendly but was a waste of money and time.
Researched this restaurant and was so excited to try this place. Spent 75$on food to go, got back to hotel and it was all wrong and items were missing. Rare burger was burnt to a crisp, called and explained items were missing and food was all wrong, they offerd to correct it. Went back assuming they had prepared correct food and doubled checked it, paid for their mistakes and went back to hotel just to open the bags and see wrong items again and still missing food. This place was not busy at all and I have never been so dissatisfied. Tired of calling and didn't want to risk getting a "spitburger" . Will not recommend. The only positive was the waitress was sweet.

First time visiting the Hilltop Diner. Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We waited to be seated for a couple minutes, before being greeted and offered a table or booth. The restaurant is decorated in a fifties diner theme and has a nice vibe to it. They also have a large selection of fresh baked pies available to purchase. Our host & server was friendly, energetic and very competent. After looking over the menu, we ordered mimosas and breakfast. The mimosas were brought out and, not long after, breakfast was served. We enjoyed a Cali Benedict, a build your own omelette and the mixed berry sweet crepes, with eggs and potatoes. The food was very good. This was a nice breakfast experience at the Hilltop Diner. We will eat here again. We enjoyed the atmosphere, had excellent service and very good food. Just a little FYI, their website and menu don't mention mimosas, but they are served here.
The service was ok. I watched them take pictures of my food before it was given to me. My burger didn’t taste right. The whole place smelled like a portapotty.

Always a good experience here. They have a salad bar and different huge baked potato options.
Service was good, even if the food was slow to get to our table. There were not that many people in the restaurant, so it seemed odd to take so long.
Amazing food amazing atmosphere the staff is really nice the manager even walks around and asks you how your food was and make sure that you're happy with it. We had some burgers I had a chili cheeseburger and it was the best chili burger I've ever had the chili was delicious. My husband had a breakfast Burger which she also enjoyed was very happy with my daughter got a chili cheese dog and said she loved it and she is very picky person. Will definitely go back the next time we are in Redding
Went this morning Sunday after church and the food was amazing! The server Michaela was so sweet with our kids and so quick, no wait to be seated. We will definitely be back!!
Very nice, beautiful place that smells delicious as soon as you get to the doors. Very attentive and friendly staff and the place is so clean and beautiful inside. Go check it out and eat! You won't regret it!
My experience at Hilltop Diner has been amazing. My family and I usually head to Denny's once a week or so for a family breakfast. And on a whim we decided to try Hilltop Diner instead. It is our new go-to breakfast spot. The waffles or pancakes are a huge hit with the kids and breakfast hash with Texas Toothpicks is absolutely perfect! I am so glad we decided to stop in and the staff has always been friendly and warm.
I always wanted to eat at Hilltop Diner. I finally got the chance. Great atmosphere and Terrific food. Everything was delicious. Great service. Great place.
Food was good but the portions were small for the price, smelled like sewer off and on while we were there.
Love this place ! Pleased with every meal and especially love the service staff. We choose to go in when our favorites Maddie and Cassie are working. Usually take home a whole pie after dine-in because of the deal.
I was not impressed with the Hilltop Diner it is because this is probably why I don't go out to eat that much as much as I'd like to the proportions were averaged the prices ridiculous I don't want my experience to interfere with anybody else's I know everybody's entitled to their opinion and this is just mine but I know it's one place that I'll not go back to
