One of my favorite cafés in LA! Love their coffee, pastries and their packaging! The seasonal flavors are amazing too. I highly recommend their chagaccino latte or their matcha latte ☕️. The cold brew is great too. The bagel is pretty solid and they allow you to add hella toppings for free like capers, onions etc. 🥯 🌱 Overall, a pretty good spot to grab your morning coffee! Great atmosphere, pricey drinks, friendly staff. This place is decent, the staff is friendly.
Sold out of everything. Had to remake my drink. The one other patron in the store gave me a nasty look when I sat down at the counter. But the staff was friendly and did fix my drink when asked, so 3 stars. 🤷♀️ I'd maybe get another coffee, but I wouldn't plan on having food or staying.
Really good espresso most of the time, good house drinks, food is okay but really small portions for the price.
First and last time I'll ever go into that place. Ordered a $10 burrito that was smaller than the single dollar bill that its worth. Check the pic for proof. This is The Alfred! This thing is supposed to have eggs and chorizo in it. After pulling it open I discovered there was at best, 2 tablespoons worth of egg content and only a few specs of the so-called chorizo. This burrito has no more than about 8 grams of protein when 1 single egg has at least 6, then add chorizo in a normal sized burrito-- you're looking at at least 20 grams of protein. I left the burrito on the table and walked out to go get real food. F this place
I'm so glad that Alfred is finally in Pasadena. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now but never had a chance to go to LA. The matcha is not bitter and taste good. There are a couple seats inside, and a few small tables for outdoor seating. I like that the customer service was good and I didn't have to wait long for my drink. I would come back to try their coffee next time.
Almost no vegan options and ALWAYS sold out of the few they do have + bagels. A shame bc it’s pretty good. They also can’t do modifications bc the food arrives pre made as a daily delivery. Wish they would be more organized with their food orders so they don’t run out of everything by 10AM everyday…
It's about the same price as other coffee shops that I go to. Their drinks are really good and I like that they have macadamia milk as one of their options. Staff is friendly, clean environment. Overall great!
The coffee here is overpriced, and the company is trying to blackball other locally owned cafés within the industry. Don’t support a company that is hostile and aggressive to small businesses!

Alfred Coffee Pasadena is such a great addition to One Colorado. Beyond its beautiful architecture and interior design, the drinks are great and staff is friendly and attentive. If you’re in the area, highly recommended!

Brand new Alfred coffee location. Excellent drinks. Smaller space with some indoor seating and shaded outdoor seating. Happy to see them finally open this location in Pasadena!
