I’ve been going to this Barnes & Noble location since the late 90s, even before it opened because my English teacher at the time had a ticket to see it before it opened. There were a lot of bookstores back when it opened but it was the nicest one, with the next nicest one being in Valencia. This location is a very serviceable enjoyable bookstore. The only problem I would cite is that it has the same issues that multiple Barnes & Noble stores have everywhere, which is creeping into sales of products which are not related to books. Their offerings of board games and other entertaining trinkets are fun but they take up a significant portion of what could otherwise be shelf space. It’s a necessary compromise for the current state of affairs but keep in mind there isn’t a lot of leisure sitting to read and the layout of the books is more geared towards browsing rather than reclining. Solid store with over a quarter century of history though.

Love Barnes and noble. Back in the day they used to have couches. I guess that changed to keep the homeless out. Somehow there are people here studying in the middle of the week. Does anyone work anymore?

We love this Barnes and nobles. We like to bring the kids, let them each pick out a book. This one is usually very clean and very quiet and very nice with very helpful workers.

LOVE this book store. Unfortunately the management decided to make annoying and condescending announcements every 5 minutes the last 1/2 hour they were open, essentially stating that they couldn’t wait for patrons to leave and that they couldn’t wait to close up and leave. Very disheartening 1 haven’t experienced a less friendly shop environment in a long, long time. Please re-train management on what customer service means and how to create a welcoming, non-threatening environment.

Love this place. So calm and quiet. My kids just like hanging out looking at books and toys and music in the back and usually find something new to start reading.
