Great for coffee and a snack after searching for your next book to read.

Awesome bookstore, with a small but thoughtfully-curated inventory of high-quality books. The cafe is a comfortable spot to read your new purchases, with tables and sofas available for lounging. This is my ideal bookstore experience, one I will certainly return to as often as possible.

Coffee house with awesome eclairs and eclectic weirdos doing the poses expected in a Coffee house.... oh, with books too. 😄

Absolutely love this place! It's a long way from Philly, and we go here every time we're in PG.

Stopped in for a coffee and stayed longer than anticipated due to the atmosphere and wonderful bookstore connected to this cafe. I’m not sure which has more popularity but would recommend anyone who enjoys hard copy books to swing through and enjoy this place. Located in the heart of Pacific Grove…you can’t go wrong visiting Lovers Point and then stopping by The Bookworks.

Cute and cozy bookstores, lots of interesting trinkets, like the locals section. Cafe was busy midday without any tables available so I didn’t get the spinach mushroom quiche which looked good and my chai latte took a while

Good coffee drink and Melodious Chai. The girls forgot our flavoring this morning but quickly corrected when asked.

The coffee and ambience are both great here. Usually quite busy during peak hours as a result, but don't let that stop you from giving it a try!

Food is small portion sizes along with big prices. All food comes from local bakeries. If they have 2nd day items them are half price. I would recommend that. People working there are awesome. The coffee shop is popular and noisy. The bookstore is quiet, and people are knowledgeable. Coffee is from Santa Cruz and good!

A small boutique bookstore in a coffee shop. Had recent special dog of ours die. Found a sweet book to give to my husband with phrases of the wisdom of dogs. Cute and helping to fill a big hole.

So happy this place exists. I'm often in PG for work now, and was looking for just this home away from home. Warmth, comfort, a friendly cafe with great pastries (croissant!) And delicious pot-of-gold milk...go hang out, bring or buy a book!

Love this coffee shop and bookstore! The only con is that usually they are busy/full, so seating (inside in particular) is hard to get on weekends.

Good selection of gluten free bakery items, good drinks, friendly service. The bookstore has a small but incredible selection of books. Very thoughtfully stocked.

Quaint little cafe with good atmosphere! I had not been in this place in about a decade. I'm happy I was able to meet a colleague for coffee there today. The prices are reasonable and the pour over was good. The only drawback is that there's just one bathroom for men and women, so get in line early.
