I was looking for coffee nearby and saw this place had that and Taiyaki! So I had to visit it. Hands down, Sweet Reef has the best boba in SLO county! The first time, we got a Vanilla Latte and a Strawberry Matcha. The Vanilla Latte had the perfect balance of sweet vanilla flavour without losing the good coffee taste. I asked for a less sweet taste on the Strawberry Matcha and I loved it. The second time, I got a Brown Sugar Matcha with boba and asked for a stronger matcha taste. I was not disappointed! The drinks taste so good, the boba is super chewy. We also tried the Cheddar Cheese, Cookie Butter and Red Bean Taiyaki. They were all good, but the Red Bean Taiyaki was my favourite in flavour. The dough was just a little bit too dry with the Cookie Butter combination. Shout out to Rola and Ayten for their excellent service. They made the drinks exactly the way we wanted them, we got our drinks super fast and they were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Will definitely come again next time I am in SLO.

Drinks here have improve since they open .So I have been recently buying drinks here several times now and ordering 3 to 5 drinks minimum and the only issue I have is I get only one stamp for the visit and not 5 stamps versus someone else ordering 1 drink and getting the same amount of stamps I get .. not kool .. please reach to me or comment on this review thanks

Seriously, for those who know how much I love my Thai tea with Boba - this place wins Hands down of anywhere I’ve tried in SLO County & yes, I’ve tried several places when Sweet Reef wasn’t open 🤣 Rich flavor, easy on the ice & cream per request, unsweetened - they are gracious enough to add my Splenda to it for me before sealing. The taiyaki I’ve tried is excellent as well. Great team of husband/wife own & work it, excellent & kind help staff as well. *Highly recommend #sweetreef

The flavors were so good. I enjoyed the Oreo and Nutella the best. But I'm more of a chocolate person. They were also the perfect size for each one. We also had their sweet reef flavored boba. I thought that it was a bit floral flavoring for me.

Sweet Reef never disappoints with me. I’ve came here since it opened ( around April ish? I’m not sure ) and they’ve never failed to disappoint me. Both me and my brother love this place. Their drinks are always amazing. The wait isn’t too bad ( 10 ish minutes ) and the staff is amazing. On multiple occasions I’ve had staff talk to me, and it just made me feel so welcomed into the place. My usual order is a Brown Sugar Matcha, and it always ends up amazing and tasting great. Sweet Reef definitely has the best service, food, and boba in the entire SLO county.

Cute little shop offering taiyakis and teas. Easy to read menu when you get there. I went on a Sunday afternoon around 2 pm and want busy- received my 4 taiyakis and 1 tea in about 10-12 minutes. Taiyakis we’re a little small and had less filling compared to some other shops I’ve been to. Filling options are Oreo, Nutella, red bean, and 2 other flavors that i forgot. An order of 4 taiyakis is $9. I also ordered a large matcha (about $7) — it was good.

There is a wide variety of drinks now that Sweet Reef has been open for almost half a year! Everything is so yummy & delicious- the drinks, atmosphere, and the taiyaki! Scared to come into a boba shop in Morro Bay but I was worried for nothing. I’m from a town that has +10 boba shops and for some reason this boba shop in a small city exceeded them all. The boba texture was perfect, fresh, and sweetened properly and the Thai tea is brewed fresh. Owner was very friendly, great service. Will be coming back
