Worst burrito I have ever had. they don’t have a kitchen or cook so the barista microwaved 1 piece of soggy bacon and microwaved a couple eggs (so nasty). The burrito was mostly tortilla. not kidding. like they used 3 tortillas because they either could not fold a proper burrito or because to make up for not including potatoes. unmelted cheese. the list of unappetizing qualities goes on and on. The thing was also cold. gave me a stomach ache as well. i shoild have complained or demanded money back but the place is struggling… the coffee wasn’t bad but, how can you mess that part up lol.

Coffee 3.8/10 Food 5/10 Cafe environment 7/10 Customer service 8/10 A latte served in a drip coffee mug. Barista is uneducated about coffee in general. The backyard is a great space to have a chat with friends or get some work done. The food is decent but nothing to write home about. I think this cafe will hit the mark for most but not for someone looking for quality espresso drinks created by educated baristas.

Good vibes, amazing coffee, really enjoyed a veggie quiche and the conversation with the owner Rudy and his son. Love the couch in the tropical patio out back. Plenty of in- and outdoor seating.

We ordered online and when we came to pick up our order they told us the website isn’t theirs anymore and we would have to work it out with our bank to get a refund. Not worth a cup ogf coffee and burrito. They should have made it right.

What a gem of a place in Morro Bay. The staff is awesome and will let you know about places that the locals go to and are off the beaten path. They bake amazing muffins and breads. Any trip to Morro Bay isn’t complete without a visit here!

triple berry almond poppyseed muffin was moist and really yummy!! it was huge too. hot chocolate was good as well, not too sweet. we met rudie and he was so friendly and welcoming even though i came in after closing hours (got misled by google maps info) but he happily served us and chit-chatted with us and gave us recommendations for our trip to santa barbara :) wishing this cafe all the best!!! would have loved to try more food if we were staying for more days

Cozy vibes and really friendly service! We met the new owner and he's so kind. Talked with us for a good while, despite us only being visitors. The coffee was delicious and my mom is normally very picky. This was one of the best espressos she's had in a while. Go enjoy some!

Great drip coffee. So fresh and flavorful. Also love the fresh baked treats: some you might expect and others a very pleasant surprise. Treat yourself to Rudy's Rock (new management)

New owners as of December 2022!! Amazing coffee, yummy food and super cool little shop. This more then any shop in town has that "local little shop" vibe. Their lattes are my favorite plus their egg quiches are pretty perfect.

Love, love the complete and delicious breakfast in a muffin! My husband was on the hunt for an early morning cafe for coffee and breakfast after a great night of probably one too many drinks. Saw the open sign lighting up the dim block and he headed in-thank goodness! Brought back a muffin that was actually more like a quiche; eggs, chorizo, bacon and a tender flaky crust all around-I ate the whole thing, and it was perfect! Definitely going to be our breakfast spot when we visit again.

The staff has dirty hands. I literally saw black dirt under the nails. They seemed to be high since they were making coffee very slow and messy. I was waiting for 20 mins in a line of 2 people. They didn't know what kind of beans they use. Coffee tasted like gross, I couldn't drink it at all. I'm not surprised after all I saw.

Visiting from Dallas and extremely disappointed! We had this placed planned based on reviews etc…arrived around 7:30 few people in line. Was told they were too busy to make burritos or sandwiches. With this being our plan before whale watching for three hours, we had to scramble to find another breakfast spot. Obviously more staff is needed!

I loved that they offered organic options! I had a jasmine tea. I got myself and my mom two plain bagels with cream cheese. I wish they had more options but I think I'm just used to the place I work which has more than ten options. The bagels were so good! It didn't bother me but the woman working there put the bagels together with her bagels with her bare hands. I had to wait awhile but as a barista I completely understand, it's just helpful to know if you're in a rush :) she was working by herself and the sandwiches were not available to order. The barista was so so nice, she even recommended a couple places to go! unfortunately the thrift shop she suggested was closed that day but me and my mom and grandfather who I'm travelling with went to the other place she recommended :)
