Limited menu but delicious food and friendly staff. Plus you can go look at the newest housing development in Madera, Tesoro something something .
I only happened upon this place, but let me tell you, it's a hidden gem. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff is even friendlier. They have delicious food and amazing drinks, and even host events throughout the weeks. Will definitely be returning!

UPDATE We gave them a couple more chances the lavender latte was very good, then we went back the spicy edamames were bom, and today I had the dam chicken sandwich and it was very good.
Friday morning group bike ride to Axis for tea and sticky bun.
Super surprised how great this place was. We had the hamburger which was served with cheese and bacon and was amazing and one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches. The service was fantastic and we left full and satisfied! Great find!
i like axis but the manger was very rude and unwelcoming.
I love Axis. They have improved SO much since opening! Their coffee is top notch, and their food is really good! Best place to stop before you head up the mountain for sure!

Beautiful open space.Quality can be much better.Slice of white toast bread for $2.18 to much. Create something new on the menu for this beautiful space.
It was better then I expected.
Axis is a very convenient little cafe located within the Tesoro Viejo community. They sell Peet's coffee and serve food. Coffee is good, on the pricier (becoming average pricing) side if you like to add in non dairy creamers and flavors. If you get an oatmilk vanilla latte it's close to $7, but again this seems to be the new average price for lattes. You order at the small counter and a server brings you your food and coffee to your table. Axis also serves alcohol for those 21 and over.
Nice place for a little snack out of the wind before browsing the farmers market. Our mocas didn't taste that great but everything everything else did.

Food and drinks were great but one of the staff member had a terrible adidude.
Neighborhood feel, good food, never without a place to sit. Has nights with live music too. And always very nice staff.
