Beautifully renovated restaurant. Friendly service.
Don't come here, go across street to Los Gatos Cafe. 1st time we sat on patio and I had to walk inside and fill my coffee multiple times. I wanted to return by myself and try before reviewing. I sat at bar. Waitress was nice and friendly. My eggs food was delivered within 3 minutes of ordering which is weird indicating it was cooking before I ordered (poor). When the food arrived it was missing the toast and I handed the plate back to server explaining I eat toast while eating eggs (I don't want the eggs, and the toast 5 minutes later). My food was cold when toast and eggs arrived together and I should not have paid for this meal (shame on restaurant manager). Later I friendly explained to server why I had her keep eggs in window and she said "we don't do it that way, we deliver eggs, and toast 5-10 minutes later). I was a food server and why is it that all the billionaire restaurateurs said you are supposed to deliver food all together? Are they stupid? Or is this business just another business figuring out a way to cut corners on, asking for pitty while raising prices, on my dime. I''ll return, but it will be the last time I tip if this poor service continues. I know you want to read nothing but positive reviews (you all do), but that is not reality here.
This place has been in business for 60 years. The last 40 by the same family. What a monument in Los Gatos. The place is like being with family. Watching the customers come in a hug all the staff is such a blessing. I love seeing the wait staff giving the regulars grief, and the back and forth really makes for a homey feeling. The food is awesome. The service is wonderful. Eat the coffee cake it is stupendous! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️🙏
Great homemade breakfast, the waitress was great!
My family and I were referred by a friend this was our second time here. The food was great when we got there we were seated outside and our waitress was very rude and unpolite her attitude was rude I asked her if there was a problem and she gave me this attitude rolling her eyes at us. and walked away. We asked for a different waitress but we were told we had to continue with the same waitress that took our order. after that, she never came back to help us which we were very thankful because after that we had two other ladies that helped us they were great. we will not be back do to this waitress bad attitude.
Busy high energy breakfast diner with great service and solid food. The home fries are some of the best I've ever had in my life. No joke!

Great little spot for breakfast/brunch. There was a short waitlist on Sunday around 10am but we were in soon enough. Friendly staff. Extensive menu and great tasting food. The eggs we had were a little on the cold side by the time they came out but everything else was delicious and cooked to perfection!

We go here for the Gorgonzola Scramble. It never disappoints. Such generous servings my hubby and I share. Service was also great, as usual.

The food was fantastic, portion sizes were great, and our server was very attentive! It has a small "diner" atmosphere with tables and bar seating. It felt slightly crowded, but we loved this little place and will definitely be back!
The food is always spot-on cash only so the prices are a little lower than your standard Eatery in the Los Gatos San Jose area. Luz is not cash-only anymore they take credit and have had a remodel since the last time I was there, before covid. Food and service were great today!
I have loved this place since I was a kid, and the quality has never changed. Everything is always good and the service is always spot on. Would highly recommend!

Lou's Coffee Shop is a must! Oh, and you have to try their coffee cake!

Delicious food, prompt, friendly service, a variety of omelets, eggs Benedict and sandwiches, as well as reasonably priced portions, make this restaurant an excellent choice for breakfast or lunch.
