Helpful staff at a classic location, perfect for a snack and great coffee
I had a cappuccino which was pretty good. Also had a breakfast sandwich which was a bit dry and the bacon on it was burnt.
Great service, but we weren't thrilled with the sausage wrap. Had a very unpleasant taste.
This cafe feels like the 1070's and the owners make a real effort to be a big part of the community. Thank you LG Coffee Roasting!
Best espresso in the Bay Area! Coffee is roasted on site and I use their espresso beans at home as well. I get the best results with my basic espresso machine, a lot of crema and flavor. Great service as well. People are friendly and attentive to the customers. Food wise I only tried desert recently. I love their gluten free chocolate cake! Oh and in the evenings you can switch to wine. Cheers 🍷
This coffee shop has been one of my favorites literally for decades. I first learned of it as a great source of coffee beans in the mid 1990s (I loved their La Minita beans which were my go-to for many years). They have a great bakery section with many choices (I enjoy the everything croissant), the coffee bar serves a great cup of Jo, and I love the Borgia Mocha. They have also finally started to make crepes again since stopping during the pandemic. This is still one of the top coffee shops in the bay area and I highly recommend that people give them a try.
coffee was okay. all the sweets and desserts looked old and dry. skip it
We visited Wednesday around 5pm, and the place was perfect - not crowded as usual, calm, relaxing, AND there were my favorite cherry galettes!
The food and coffee was very good, the toilet was dirty and the airco very noisy.
Ask anyone in Los Gatos where you can find the best coffee in town and they’ll invariably point you to the Coffee Roasting Company. This iconic shop has been sourcing and roasting premium beans from major coffee producing regions around the world since 1982. You can always choose among three fresh drip options in the morning: light roast, dark roast, and decaf. There’s a separate espresso bar offering all the traditional handcrafted coffee drinks as well as a few unique concoctions. You can also buy whole beans ground to order, as well as pour-overs of your favorite blend or single origin coffee, at the counter in back. If you love great coffee, this is the place for you! In addition to coffee, tea, and decadently fresh pastries, the cafe menu has been expanded over the years to include a variety of light breakfast and lunch items as well as beer and local mountain wine. But this is more than just a coffeehouse. It’s the unofficial Town Hall where local residents gather to meet, greet, or just hang out at a table in front and watch the world go by. The gently worn furniture and exposed brick walls create a relaxing old school European vibe. The shop is open every day until 6pm and there’s live music several nights a week. The Coffee Roasting Company just celebrated their 40th anniversary. And although founder and owner Terri Hope recently sold part of the business to a silent partner, she still proudly presides over the operation as if it were entirely her own. She’s also a major influencer in the community as Chair of Los Gatos Music & Arts, a nonprofit that raises funds for music and arts programs by hosting live summertime concerts (including Jazz on the Plazz). With fewer and fewer independent shops like this, I’m glad that the Los Gatos Coffee Roasting Company continues to thrive, and I highly recommend it.
Great coffee, lines can get a bit long here (10-15 mins)
Really good pastries and coffee. We drive three hours to buy our favorite in-house roasted beans.
Good coffee and a relaxed vibe in a somewhat laid-back part of downtown. May be quite busy in the mornings though..
5 stars even thought they were out of honey for my espresso. But because the people were nice, the pastry (even though messy) was very tasty, the espresso was robust and large as a double….plus the scene was super chill and relaxed, 5 stars. Had a quick meeting here and needed some fuel for my soul, and this treat hit the spot.
Nice coffee shops to enjoy your drink while meeting with your friends. It is a neighborhood coffee shop where a lot of locals hang out. Parking is easy, lots of street parking available
The best apricot bar ever, combined with tasty ibarra coffee and relaxing surroundings, improves your well-being to the highest degree.
A lovely cozy place with amazing lemon cheesecake and coffee. I heard that there will be a band live show here in the evening.
Cozy and interesting decor are the backdrop for fantastic pastries and light eats, wonderful wines and specialty coffees. This gem is unique and is so very welcoming. The vibe is "one of a kind European cafe" - not "commercial fast turnover."
Great selection of coffee beans and loose leaf teas. Friendly service.
Very good vibes! It was very lively on New Year’s Day but we found a table! Delicious coffee and cakes😇
