Coffee was yummy. I had the Mexican mocha. Super sweet, with great coffee taste. Cafe inside with sandwiches. They also have ice cream. Donuts were gone when I arrived

The young lady taking the orders looked like she had a rough night. Never offered a smile to anyone. Got a coffee and a Chia latte. Husband had to ask for the creamer.

Slow service, staff was sort of rude, the sourdough was not real sourdough and potentially moldy. The sprouts were a nice touch though.

Fun little stop on the way to mammoth. Sandwiches were fresh. Sourdough bread wasn’t the best, but I enjoyed my sandwich overall. Would stop back in!

Sorry to inconvenience you ladies with my business. First time it's ever been open on my many many drives through town. Lots of good stuff inside, even bubblegum ice cream, that's incredible.

The options are abundant, the service is personable and if your order takes a little time that is because it's the real deal . If you are looking for a good coffee, this is where you'll find it. Oh, and the tea selection ,um hello

For the vegans passing through town, Lone Star Bistro offers vegan cream cheese for their bagel sandwiches! They had a smoothie special during my last visit (tropical with pineapple, strawberry, orange, coconut). They also have oat and almond milks for espresso drinks. I got an oat milk latte on my last visit - just okay. Hopefully more vegan options coming in the future? For others, Lone Star Bistro offers customized sandwiches with many bread, filling, topping options (see menu photos for just some of the options). They have baked goods, ice cream, and other goodies and of course a full espresso bar. Aside from food this is also a good place to get Mt Whitney / Lone Pine / Hwy 395 memorabilia and other miscellaneous items!

An excellent local cafe! The coffee is great and their sandwiches are the best food in town! Gotta stop by every time i’m back in Lone Pine. Get an affogato if you stop by!

I absolutely love this awesome place! We stopped every day for beer (on tap), coffee and ice cream! They also have yummy sandwiches, donuts, etc. They have gifts and souvenirs too! We sat on the patio and enjoyed our coffee and beer. We will definitely be back next trip to Lone Pine!

We ordered sandwiches and they were ok. Nothing special but tasty enough. Sourdough bread wasn't very good. They would do better going with a true Sourdough like Schats. We weren't given a bag to carry out our two sandwiches in. Overall it was just ok.

Looking for a light lunch/snack, we stopped at Lone Star. The server was alone in the store and hustling to keep up. She was very polite and pleasant. We were happy to wait our turn. The service was great and the food even better. We split a turkey sandwich. Fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is fun. We would go back here anytime.

I've been here numerous times, when passing through. I had a decent blended coffee but the sandwich was below average. I could have made a better one at my home. Too bad!
