Stopped here for gas on the way back from Antelope Valley. They have a convenient store and also cafe. Restrooms were clean. Had to pay for gas first at cash register before pumping the gas. Service was good.

I was out looking for a big poppy bloom when I happened upon this little mart and cafe.

Great selection of what you would expect from a small market. Excellent and friendly service. Tasty food from the grill. Definitely stop in if you're nearby.

They have a variety of things in the store, and they have basic philipino food.

They didn't have any fuel there, and it was in the middle of a snowstorman. I didn't think I was going to make it back to town. The service was great, and so was the food. I forget the clerks name, but he was cool he was wearing a Star Trek sweater.

I would give this place a great rating, as it's a good stop for fuel on the way out of town. But the lady behind the counter (I believe she's the owner), was super rude. I spent over a hundred dollars on fuel and snacks, and went back in to use the restroom after I finished at the pump. She took the occasion to ask me in a very accusatory manner if I had bought anything. I don't get what they think they're getting from that. I completed my transaction with the other employee, but she was standing right there when I did it. Have a sign, customers only, sure. But before you start accusing people, try to pay a bit of attention. Instead, she went out of her way to make me feel unwelcome, so I'll be going out of my way to not return.

Only place for Miles to get gas on this desert road and they take full advantage of that by charging gas prices that are $2 more per gallon than any populated place.

Non of the pumps work, unless you pay in store. It was $6.89.....when 15 miles down the road on i5 we found it for 4.99

Quaint little place, but bad customer service. I have been here a couple times and was very unimpressed both times. The first time was about 8 months ago for lunch. The food tasted ok but made both me and my coworkers sick. The cashier really didn’t seem to want to be there and we were uncomfortable. The second time was today when we were passing by and needed air in our tire. They wouldn’t let us get air without paying cash or getting gas. I understand it is a business, but what happened to good customer service? This made me not want to support the business anymore. I will wait a few more minutes to get to Lancaster for better gas prices and better customer service. The cashier said it is because they have had to replace parts of the hose and fittings. Solution; keep the air hose inside and have a sign that says “For air, ask attendant inside”. That will mostly eliminate any vandalism. It just makes good business sense to help people who need help. A little bit of electricity and wear on your compressor is a small price to pay.

A pleasant surprise to find! Very friendly service, tasty sandwiches, cold drinks - perfect stop between big towns. Nice to have a chance to give a mom & pop shop business instead of the overpriced chain locations in the busy surrounding towns. This is a perfect spot to stop traveling between Lebec & Barstow to give the engine & pups a break.

Cafe delayed closing a few minutes for our late arrival. Very kind. (Based on our phoning ahead & being polite.) Lots of hiker resupply meals and munchies. Cafe prices very fair. Aisles are too narrow for wheelchair access.

If I could give 0 stars I would. But there isn’t an option. The person was extremely rude.
