This restaurant has the classic old cowboy western charm. It's clearly one of the favorite. The menu is everything you'd expect for breakfast. They give you huge portions. Everything is pretty fast. The food is high quality and super fresh. I saw a lot of food coming out of the kitchen and everything looks mouth watering. The prices are really good! The servers are friendly and professional. The restaurant is very small. So if you want to eat there except nothing short of at least a 30 minute wait. We love you Julian Cafe, you guys are the BEST!!! Excellent pies too!👍👍👍

This restaurant was one of very few places here in Julian which was opened during dinner hours at 7 pm on a Monday Memorial Day. It felt a little tight at the entrance and crowded in the restaurant. Came in for a fresh baked apple crumb pie to go. Enjoyed the quick transaction. Tasty pie. Many other businesses are located so close on same side of the road as well as across the road, includng many bakeries and restaurants also having freshed baked pies for sale, but I saw that most were closed at 7 pm.

Cool little Cafe. The apple pie has nothing on julian pie co. But they serve theirs with ice cream and it was pretty tasty. They are open a little later than the pie co. So if you miss it, this would be a good secondary option

The toilet is from what looks like the 40s (that's a good thing) Best damn burger I've had in a fat minute. I had to break in my motor in my race car, so I drove 130 miles to get a burger. Well worth it!

I had a great time. Delicious apple pie and apple cider. I enjoyed the chicken croissant sandwich. Their fries are good. My sister clames that the bathroom is very haunted and she hated it. Apparently, watch out for that bathroom

Try the apple cidar float it's like eating your apple pie and icecream without having to chew. Service was very good. Wife and friends not impressed with their pie

There are several places to have your defacto apple pie in Julian. JC offers an authentic dining experience and quality product.

Great olde Old Timey dinner located in the old mining town of Julian located in the mountains east of San Diego! It's a small restaurant so there is usually a wait. My favorite dish is the chicken pot pie turnovers!

Did a 200 mile ride that day and grabbed breakfast here after the first 75 miles. Great spot, little snow, good grub. You can't go wrong with they're their breakfast.

Excellent food to get after a hike. We spent the whole day in Anza Borrego. From there, it was about a 45 minute drive to Julian Cafe. I demolished their chicken pot pie and it was absolutely incredible - super rich, hearty flavor. Their portions are also HUGE by the way.
