Very good bread, croissants are nice too, you can buy coffee grain with roasts to take home and they discount it in your coffee to drink-in order. The freshly pressed juices are great!!

Imagine wanting to try a new place because you were dying of hunger but your favorite bagel place was closed and your favorite coffee shop was too far out of the way… but you were literally given scorching hot flavored water, a grainy bagel and an unflavored smoothie, so dying would have been better in hindsight. Yuck.

I didn't want to give them a 1 star rating. I wanted to order a couple of pies for Thanksgiving but even with a magnifying glass i couldn't read the menu. I guess I'll elsewhere!

I used to love this place, but $6 bucks for a Large Hot Chocolate? Outrageous. Inflation always hits hardest at the bottom

I really want to say good things about this place because it is organic and I always want to support local but this place is the reason why a lot of people don't support local. The people who work here are so bad at their jobs, maybe they aren't paid well and that is why they don't care about customers or quality of what they give out. The flour garden off of Neal st isn't like that nor the one in auburn, this one is just closer to nevada city. 4/5 times they mess up your drink or burn your food and then have no customer service at all and then have the audacity to ask for a tip. I always tip but i regret choosing to go to this place every single time now.

20 years, Flour Garden was my go to spot every time I was in town. For the last few years though, it’s completely overran with all of the homeless people. Don’t feel safe sitting outside, and have to somewhat plan my exit around all the tweakers by the front door. This has forced me to take my business somewhere else

Everything about this place is great except the manager. I go here to write, today I spent around 20$ sat quietly, read and wrote all morning. Soon as she showed up same as last time, I'm an instant problem. I was right outside the window talking to a friend, my belongings within eye sight. She very aggressively and rudely asked me to leave for not watching my stuff, which I clearly was, I could point to my things through the window. Her, trying to comply to the rules of the establishment, couldn't budge on the policy, or be polite about it whatsoever. Last time she put all my things in a garbage bag with a bunch of items that belonged to somebody else, when I left with just my things she asked if she could throw the rest of it away. I replied that she should probably ask whoever it belonged to, she twirled around abruptly with a clear note of disdain for me challenging her actions regarding my belongings. In short, every other employee at this place has been great, this particular woman gave me the type of experience as a patron where I'm pretty sure I will never be coming back for any reason. Both times the place was not busy as in around 80% of the seating was available. Her reseason for the policy was leaving your things unattended makes her responsible and keeps other patrons from finding seating. Both issues appearing covered to me, since I could literally touch my bag through the window if it wasn't there and the fact the place was almost completely empty. Never going back to this establishment because of this interaction, she was extremely rude about the ordeal as well, where I barely said a thing. In short, it is clear that the woman plain didn't like me. Well darling, I feel completely the same way.

Don't order here if you have a Disability. I have Autism and the counter staff openly made fun of me, and sassed me, for asking questions about the drinks. Nobody was waiting and I was confused about ingredients. It was humiliating. Awful awful 😞.

Not enough bang for the buck. It cost me over $75 for 1 large freshly juiced, a cappuccino and 8 pastries. Close to $6 per pastry not including the drinks. Yeesh.

Everything is made fresh, with real ingredients that you can find in a regular store. No dough conditioners, preservatives or other junk here!

Excellent Apple Pies! 🍎 Pies are just as they look...perfect crust, not over baked, & "stuffed full" of the best Granny 😋 Smith's, along with just exactly the right amount 😋 of cinnamon. I encourage anyone who knows a good Apple 🍎 Pie to buy 2;1 for yourself, & 1 for a friend! Can hardly wait for Berry Season!

I ordered a green juice. Cucumber, celery, parsley, ginger. It came out brown. I asked if she put something else in it. “No”. I said I was wondering why the colour. “O, beets were done earlier today”. So they don’t wash the machine between juices. It only takes putting a cup of water thru to clean the machine and not contaminate. I’m glad I don’t have a allergy to beets tho I specifically order an all green juice to not have the sugar in carrot, beets or apple. She seemed to be bothered I was asking.
