First time @ this coffee shop and probably won't go back. Asked for our coffee extra hot and it was barely warm. Also, got our order wrong. Ordered the Lavender Latte w/regular milk and regular latte w/almond milk and they got them mixed up

They are open until 5pm, but only have any kind of prepared food until noon? Odd choice. Chai latte was good tho!

Flash brew is pretty good. Sometimes a little bitter. Not as good as the Visalia location. I absolutely love the food in Visalia. I got the bagel breakfast sandwich ant the Fresno location and it was not good! The bacon was sooo salty I couldn’t eat it , the bagel was hard and dry. Not worth the $12. They need to work out the kinks.

I keep giving Component a chance but it just doesn’t seem to fit here in Tower. I walk over from my house with my dog and they never have a water bowl out. They say someone stole it and are working on replacing it. The old staff would take the time to get to know you and your pup. Now it’s a scripted approach. It feels like a wannabe corporate franchised spot like Starbucks. Bring back the Revue and it’s former manager and employees please.

Coffee is good but low review is because there was a bum shooting up in the bathroom the last time I was there. Not the atmosphere I want when I’m drinking my latte!

Good latte, good price, good ambiance. Thank you for the Fresno welcome! WiFi is good, too.

Lovely to finally come back and see what component have done with the old Revue shop. I've been a big fan of both for years and very happy that great coffee is still being served in Fresno. The interior is still classy as hell, and has all the artisan touches that made the revue special. The menu is sadly a bit more limited than in the other component location, although luckily only really on the food side. So it's off to Visalia if you want a breakfast burrito. Hopefully some of those things might make it across in the future. Overall, great job.

I've been a couple times since open and like the other reviews say, the charm is gone. Obviously huge props to the remaining staff for buckling down during this transition (like they were given a choice), their spirits have definitely become wilted. The energy is just off. Component's staunch insistence to clutch to their own uppity brand recognition instead of acclimating to a building name with almost 20 years of Fresno reputation was the first red flag. Even during the Mia Cuppa years it was still primarily referred to by staff and neighbors alike as the Revue...and we all know those years were a bit rough. What a shame! Okay component, welcome to Tower - maybe your $8 dollar 3rd wave craft lattes fly down south but please note the median income for Fresno is about 20k less than Visalia, and 30% percent of our neighborhood population is under the national poverty level. When your key demographic for sales is students, service workers, and locals within walking distance - your ethically roasted beans aren't very ethically priced. The prices and the product do not correlate. If I'm paying 8-10 dollars for a product it should be the most incredibly crafted beverage I've had. But the quality and consistency has been massively lacking. Already the regulars are flocking for alternative coffee spots due to the change in rewards systems, prices, and general management attitude. The existing Revue staff all look like they've seen some ghost, clearly traumatized from a transition that they had no choice to participate in - either stick around or lose your livelihood? Poor things! They are NOT to blame about any of this review - it's clear they are trying the best with what they have, which I imagine was a rushed training process and several weeks unpaid off during renovations? Surely as new employees of a new company they hadn't accrued any PTO during that....uh...renovation? ..new countertop install? Some paint? Maybe a few new appliances. NICE. And the new staff, eithe

Slow service with only 3 customers at the time, a limited menu, and the staff suggestion unfortunately tasted like hot milk. Good muffin though.

I was so excited to try Component and to my surprise it was a bust. I spent $15 on a small coffee and Danish. I got the iced mocha and it was terrible. The Danish was super dry with very little taste. I will definitely not be back. I could have gone to Starbucks for half the price for a food item and coffee that I love. Super sad because I always hear good things about Component but 🤢🤮

This is my favorite coffee shop in the Tower District. I don’t know why it hasn’t gotten better reviews. The staff was SUPER friendly and took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. They even asked after I got my drink if I liked it. The vibe in the shop is very trendy, relaxed, cozy, and bright. They have cute little booths in the back and a big table as well.

Tried the cardamom latte which was well-balanced and very yummy. I found the servers exceptionally warm and friendly. Great little spot.

First the staff is always so welcoming, super friendly and attentive. I barely started to go there 3 weeks ago and I will say I have been back so many times and have brought friends and they are all impressed as well! The coffee is phenomenal, I never have to have it adjusted or am I ever dissatisfied with how it is made. They are so consistent unlike some other coffee shops or chains. The banana nut muffin should be illegal It is too good! The negativity about Component has got to be a personal issue because from The staff, The atmosphere, the food and the coffee 10 outta 10!

This now is what The Revue used to be. The coffee is still good. Seems less of a small neighborhood shop now. Ambiance is slightly different. Will still keep shopping there.

Cameron is an absolute joy, such a wholesome and thoughtful person. The cafe is more organized than before, with a wrap around line that is easy to follow. I'd only say keep the door open during business hours, making entry easier for people with disabilities and people in wheelchairs. The Ethiopian coffee (whole beans) is especially good as a pour over or french press!
