My favorite coffee house. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. And of course the best maple latte ever. But wait. Now they have a yummy honey lavender latte. Try it cold this summer!
I go to Pause Coffee House (on Madison) 2-3 times per week because I work remotely. So I’m typically there for several hours each visit. Pause is definitely in my top 3 for coffee shops. The staff is always friendly and the service is great. The food options are pretty good too. My favorite food item is the bagel sandwich with a jalapeño cheddar bagel. They have decent pastries too. My favorite part is the environment: real plants; high tables and chairs (because I like to switch between sitting and standing); the rustic/iron and wood furniture and decoration; and good coffee. I highly recommend this place.
Wonderful location, great service every time. It’s got a cozy feel that is warm and inviting. The drinks are outstanding, far better than the Starbucks down the street. It’s worth passing up on another drive-thru coffee shop to come here and get a quality beverage with kind faces.
Great place with great coffee! It’s my go to in the area. Better than your regular Starbucks and their avocado toast is really good as well. If you’re a cold brew fan these guys have the best in Sacramento.

Amazing spot. Very good coffee. Mochas are especially good. They even have Topo-Chico with lime. 🥰🥰🥰🥰 They have an almond encrusted bear claw that is out of this world! Also, try their avocado toast with an egg on top! ❤️
Great atmosphere and flavorful drinks to match. The coffee variations we've tried have all been as good as the national chains with more personality. Fresh baked goods are available all day too.
One of the best coffee spots in Sac, a real and genuine great vibe, great pastries and so far the best cappuccino I’ve had in a Sac!
Hadn't been to pause coffee in a while and decided to grab an evening coffee. Sadly, the quality of coffee is not the same. The coffee tasted very watery, barely warm, and the sweetener was different from what I ordered. Paid 8 bucks for a coffee and didn't get what I wanted. Also, the chairs need some improvement, extremely uncomfortable!

With a limited menu I wasn’t sure if I’d find something that I’d enjoy. I tried a iced butterscotch coffee with milk and it wasn’t bad, but the almond croissant was delicious which really surprised me since it was flat as a board (never seen that before) the sign said that they come from ettore’s so there’s no surprise that it was delicious 🤤 The person helping me was very friendly and nice but the lady making the drinks was the opposite. She acted like she really didn’t want to be there. The Restaurant seemed to be clean with lots of beautiful plants around 🪴

Bomb drinks and eats. The place itself is the perfect vibe for meeting a friend or doing homework for hours. Spacious tables, comfy chairs and couches. 5/5 would recommend
The best pastries I've ever tried...their almond croissant 🥐🤯...coffee is a hit or miss..I always get the same coffee (iced vanilla latte) but it ends up tasting different sometimes.
Coffee and service is good. They have a sandwich board up for food, kitchen closes at 1pm. Limited pastries though I got there closer to noon so thats on me. Loyalty program on first visit. Will be back when in Fair Oaks again.

I absolutely love Pause! I am here at least 5 times a week. The service is great and the coffee is the best I’ve ever had.
I love this place! It's my go to coffee spot. Everyone is super nice and the coffee is great! They are getting a bit more popular, so they could use some more seating inside (real bad).
