It’s been too long since we’ve been here (3 weeks!). This is the classic slow and steady wins the race. No one dish is stand out, but when you need eggs, bacon or sausage and hash browns for breakfast this is the place. Nothing fancy, always friendly, consistently good real food. If you want “brunch” don’t bother.
The staff is really friendly and the food is consistently very good. Breakfast is their best meal, and they can get pretty busy.
Great little diner for breakfast and lunch. They are known for their banana nut pancakes which are worth it! It's diner style food that serves great portions, for reasonable prices. We always enjoy coming here!
Maybe a new owner as everything I ordered was awful compared to a year ago. Hash browns tasted like old oil, poached eggs not strained of water, coffee weak and bland. Lastly sour dough was soft, under toasted. All in all, a very mediocre breakfast. If you like a greasy spoon, this is it. Not returning
Hands down the best Reuben sandwich I’ve had in a while! The pastrami is to die for. The classic American Diner is alive and well at Sunshine Cafe !!!

Came in with my sister and 2 year old for quick breakfast while my car was being serviced. The outside looks very unwelcoming. The door was closed and we walked in didn't know if it was self seating or if there was a host. The waitress came and told us there are tables available in the back. We sat down I went and grabbed a booster for my toddler the bus boy brought us a highchair too just in case. The busser also brought us coffee and water. After 2 more tables came in we were still not greated by waitress. When we finally saw her she want to one of the tables that sat down after us and took their order. I was upset because we were sitting there for 10 minutes already. After she took the other tables order we waited another like 7 minutes and at that point I was over it and needed to find somewhere else to get my daughter and our breakfast. If the service was that slow I'm sure the food was going to take forever too. Definitely won't go back.
Great diner! Everything you would expect from a small family owned diner! Delicious food and friendly staff.
A fun little family type diner with amazingly good food
Great old school diner with wonderful food and sweet staff. Even though they were short staffed because of an emergency we never realized. This is the kind of place my husband loves and I'm sure we'll return soon.
Good, small breakfast sport with large portions and good food.
French toast was terrible. Waitress forgot my milk, and still charged me. Sadly won’t be back.
Went here for my birthday breakfast today. Ordered banana nut pancakes. Came with no bananas. Terrible service. After waiting and waiting, had to go find waitress to get our bill so we could pay. Won’t return.
Some friends took me here. Love places like this... nothing fancy, great food and service, great prices. Menu is pretty extensive. I had the eggs and french toast... perfect. This place is really popular for breakfasts, but tables open up later in the afternoon.
Food is always delicious but service was way behind. A party of 2 sat about 10 mins after us and they received their food and finished their meal before we received ours
Pancakes were delicious! Your average diner restaurant, quick and attentive service and good food.
Very good food, reasonably priced in a neighborly atmosphere. It's a good place for family.
Came here with family after the Airplane Museum and wow! This diner is delicious!! My kids had blueberry pancakes and French toast. Both were delectable. My wife had the Cobb salad and I had the Reuben. Both were so good and we were so happy to have found this little diner. The service here is also super friendly. They really appreciate your business and are happy to have you here. If you’re looking for a down home, tasty, filling, bite to eat….look no further than the Sunshine Cafe! We love it here and will definitely be back!
