Found this place while on a weekend getaway to Palm Desert. Had good reviews. We drove 20 minutes to get to them and it was well worth the drive. Food (breakfast) was excellent. Great flavor. No young workers. No feel of chaos. Staff was awesome and attentive. Plenty of staff to make the experience enjoyable. Will definitely come back when we’re in the area again.
Good service, just ok banana "Cake" I ordered the Banana Cake (pancake) with granola. My bad, I assumed the granola was just sprinkled on top of the cakes, but it was actually placed on the grill and then batter poured over (to cook into it). The texture of granola once cooked in something only made it weirdly chewy. The "cakes" are huge! I ordered a 3 stack and 2 stack would have been too much still. The coffee was good. Great service! From the time you enter to the time you leave, you are given great customer service! The ambiance is great too, a cute little café with a nice size eat-at counter as well as cozy little booths and tables. I'll come back and try other stuff.
We came to lunch with our senior group today and had nothing but issues first with the hostess we had to wait to be seated even with a reservation and then with one of the owners who was extremely rude to 8 senior citizens!!!! Obviously this owner could care less about his customers and only stood up for his staff. We won’t ever go back and hope that you support us in not ever returning or going to this restaurant, maybe we can put him out of business! Stay away don’t support this restaurant!!! The foods only ok anyway!
If I could give no stars I would we were a party of 8 with reservations and had to wait about 15 min because the hostess sat 2 people at a table so our party didn’t fit. When we asked to speak to the owner we were seated. Nothing was said until we got our bills 18% tip and some kind of surge if we used a credit card so surprise charges. After our meal Steve one of the owners finally came to our table arguing with the gal from our table who made the reservations. He totally said we were rude to his staff which we were not and basically after we told him we wouldn’t be returning he said “I hope you never come back” this was an owner we definitely won’t be returning if you want to support a rude owner who only cares about his staff and not his customers then be my guest but if you can join our protest stay away from this place!!!!!

My dish was ok, I like IHOP pancakes 🥞 way better. Others seem to like it and I only had one dish. I doubt I'll be back.

A fantastic local place with good traditional food. The service is attentive, friendly and fast. Warm atmosphere where old timers are addressed by first name. Highly recommended.

My hash browns were well done and too crispy for me. Other breakfast items were tasty.
The cafe was very cozy, the staff were so welcoming and caring. We were there for breakfast. We ordered veggie omelette and pancakes, it got ready very quick. We enjoyed the meal. It was so delicious. My family and I will come back

Excellent 50s style diner atmosphere and menu items. Amazing biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak. Love to come back for some blueberry pancakes and waffles.
