Really good fish and chips and has a nice patio for dining. If it’s chilly you can also eat in the cafe which is owned by the same people.
Great Cafe. Excellent food. Beautiful view from balcony seating.
Great food. Kind of off-season, weather a bit cool. Would be even better in summer. Fish tacos! With Scrimshaw lager!
Get the artichoke fritters (larger portion than I expected), oysters both raw and bbq'ed from hog island, new England clam chowder and espresso drinks- perfect roadside stop. Some cute stores there, too.
One of my favorite places in Bodega Bay. We always opt for the Clam Chowder Bowls and split a Lobster Roll. I prefer the chowder here over other pla es in Bodega Bay. They are all good but here it is not over garlicky or salty.
Literally, every single thing was so fresh and delicious! It was a little nippy outside, so we were thankful that they provided an indoor option for dining. If ever in the area, we will definitely return.
A must go to every time I'm in Bodega Bay.
One of the best fish & chips I ever had.
Delicious food, full of flavor. Very polite and professional services. Clean restaurant and restrooms.
The fries are the best thing here. And FYI the Fish tacos have breaded fish like from the fish and chips :-( and as far as that goes there's a lot more breaded portion than there is fish. My tacos had mostly slaw and the fried breaded stuff and almost no fish. Service was friendly and attentive.
As others have said, ocean views and outdoor seating! What can be wrong there? On to the grub. Best thing we’ve had here are the addicting artichoke fritters. Order them, even if you don’t order anything else. Onion rings - excellent. The fish and chips were cooked perfect but very bland, they need some fresh herbs/parsley/tarragon/chives - just something! And the clam chowder could use some too, instead of the peppery flavor that kinda obliterated the clam taste. Overall - we will be back, if only for the artichoke!
Not only did we have some fantastic fish tacos served by friendly faces, but the staff was incredibly helpful when I left my bag hanging on my chair. They responded quickly to our e-mail, kept my things safe for me, and everyone knew exactly what I was looking for when I showed up to pick it up!!
Some of the best fish n chips I've had.
On our trip up Hwy 1 from SF we decided to stop for lunch at a pretty inconspicuous café with zero expectations. We thought it might be a little kitschy tourist stop for those fans of the Hitchcock film (The Birds). Come to find out they have some of the most delicious food of our entire trip! This small café honestly has no business being so good. I would highly recommend stopping in!
The Fries were so salty, impossible to eat them, and the tacos without salsa without any flavor, only the clam chowder soup was worth the money, very disappointed, never ever will eat here.
Outdoor seating, and the views are fantastic. Prices are generally affordable and the food comes out quickly. I had the $15.95 + tax fish tacos, and the fish was fresh & plentiful. But the overall tacos were uninspired: meh ingredients, almost without flavor. Cold tortillas that looked and tasted like they were just pulled out of a supermarket package. (Hate to say this, but I would take fish tacos from a roadside truck that cost 1/3rd the price any day over these.)
Friendly service and the coffees were great! The souvenier shop was closed and the Alfred Hitchcock displays weren't anywhere to be found. So sad. It used to be so much fun to get your picture with Tippy Hedron!!!
This review is for the coffee place next to the fish and chips place. Friendly service, tasty mocha and chai latte (although they should work on their foaming skills), delicious (!) vegan brownie! So good. Happy to know there’s good coffee In Bodega Bay.
I stop here almost every time I go out to Bodega Bay for the day. Their food is great and I love their dog friendly patio with a view.
Best spot for clam chowder and lobster rolls. Thank you for the amazing food!
