Went there on Mother's Day morning! Not too busy! Good food! Free carnation's were given to Mother's. Definitely will be back!
Our youngest suggested for Sunday breakfast and indeed was a great suggestion. All dishes are served with quality ingredients plus the waitresses were supper nice
A true treasure of a place. Offering fresh and homemade flavor to their food. The service was like your mom meeting all your needs. It's not fancy but everything else is second to none.

Food was great amasing gravy nice hamburger steak. DO NOT get the chicken strips inedible very very tough.
Mom loves this place, hard to find a morning without a full Cafe because it is always good! Proper pancakes, and the sausage egg or chicken fried steak brekky are my go-tos.
Tiny whole in the wall as some would say, super clean, great service and absolutely great food!!! The biscuits and gravy are to die for! 🫠🥰🫶🏻 they prepared fresh daily!! Super yum 🤤 It’s the place that everyone one goes to a lot and everyone knows you. They made us feel so welcome 🤗 Marina is most definitely on top of her game!!

Our first time here. It was so delicious. Customer service was excellent Marina was our server. And very pleasant and did I mention food was delicious. 😋 😋 😋 😋 will return on our next way through Bakersfield.
Food was ok but not great bland no seasoning
I come to Bakersfield from time to time to work. I like a homestyle kitchen with home style from scratch food. Donna Kaye's restaurant was just that. The server and possibly owner (I'm not sure) made you feel welcome. I will come here for breakfast anytime I'm in the area.

I love Donna Kay's and it's been my #1 place for Breakfast. But today I was honestly disappointed in my order the Food was cold didn't have any flavor other then the coffee that was warm but not hot. I don't live far from the Restaurant and I know my uber eats driver was there to pick it up on time as he messaged me appoligizing for the delay. So why was the food ice cold? It just tells me Donna Kay's let the food sit until they had the time to give it to my driver. A $35 order and they let it sit smh definitely not happy with the food today.

Food was amazing!!! I got the cinnamon roll French toast with scrambled eggs and I added cheese and jalapeños. You gotta get the bacon! She got vegetarian omelette with hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy all for $45 with tip
