Had a Coconut White Mocha and it was good, my husband had a Lattè with oat milk and he enjoyed it. We tried the cherry strudel and we did not have it warmed up and should have. It was really good. The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and professional. This was our first time here and glad we tried it.

One is the only "real" coffee bars in the Phoenix area that offers fresh roasted assortment of beans, homemade pastries and a craftsman barista.

The coffee and staff were top notch. Very nice inside and cozy. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was tasty and I would get it again. The pancakes were a little over the top with a vanilla flavor. A little over powering for my taste. The size of the pancakes were huge and a good amount for the money. My kids will enjoy them. I really liked the coffee and tea options. I will be back for the coffee for sure. Really great neighborhood spot. Definitely worth trying.

So glad we discovered HG. Great drinks and food. Always doing specials, especially for holidays. Super friendly staff and efficient. Even my kids prefer HG over some of the well known coffee shops. Highly recommend you make this your coffee shop of choice.

Quite like the breakfast sandwiches and the coffee is good. 4 stars cuz they need new coffee cups. Idk if it's just me but every time I get coffee here it's dripping down the sides. Makes a mess of my car n everything :/

Cute little place. I liked my americano. The food was good too. But seemed kind of overpriced. I got a carnitas bowl and not much meat.

I would not recommend for the food, did not try the coffee. Food took 30 min on a Sunday around 11am. Ordered an egg white (got reg scrambled eggs) sandwich on a bagel and the Roasteritto burrito. The avocado on the bagel was not real sliced avocado but the guacamole that comes pre-done in a cup and it was brown so made the sandwich inedible. There was one very small tomato slice in the center. I attempted to eat the egg but was tasteless. The burrito had better flavor but was overly salty and the potatoes you could tell were old and greasy and was not the best. The tortilla did not seem like it was warmed beforehand and was dry, flour on it. Salsa not great. Probably won't try again.

Just wow. Great coffee. Great food. Friendly staff. Would love to see them expand into a bigger space with more seating and atmosphere.

The rice Krispy treats were not fresh and I don't like when restaurants take advantage of people placing delivery orders as a way to dump their stale or expired food onto them. In the Restaurant I would send it back and tell them the rice crispy was stale I want a fresh one and I would tell them their bacon tastes funny and it's gross. I don't recommend anything that has bacon in it and I don't recommend the rice crispy treat. They also put a lot of ice in their apple and orange juice. Hopefully they do better in person but they cut all corners on delivery.

Great alternative to Starcucks and Dutch Hoes. The name is a bit strange with a dash of clever; I’m unsure if it’s just a cheeky play on words, a thinly veiled humble brag, or a subtle religious reference. The coffee shop is in an inconvenient section of a suburban strip mall with limited parking, and from the outside, you have no clue what you’re getting yourself into. Upon walking in you’ll find their little Diedrich Roaster alongside the counter, which makes you wonder if it’s just there for show or if they actually use it. It’s hooked up to electrical and ducting, so I assume it’s in use, but probably not when customers are there. I took a peek at their espresso machine, which was tucked behind the counter and covered in a thick layer of dust. It’s a Rancilio, which is a solid Italian machine, so props to them, but it’s a shame to see their showpiece neglected and hidden away. Maybe they prefer it that way, since from what I could see, it’s pretty filthy. If they can’t wipe the panels clean then my mind immediately wonders what the rest of their machine cleaning regimen looks like…. I ordered an iced Americano, black. Their roast seemed to be medium to dark, like past first crack but maybe not quite to second? Hard to say. It was okay, but somewhat nondescript, with no flavor notes popping or standing out for me. I didn’t try their food, so no comment there, but the customer service was great, so they have that going for them. I’d say this is a solid 3.9/5 coffee shop, not bad, not mind-blowing.

I've been coming here for over a month and I have yet to try anything I didn't like. I never expected a coffee shop to have much to offer for breakfast beyond a decent pastry or two, however I was pleasantly suprised with their breakfast burritos. The fillings are seasoned so well! Their gluten items are delicious, especially thier pumpkin breakfast bars. I always show up right when they open and the staff is wide awake and friendly every time. Such a wonderful experiance!

Cute place but seems to suffer from poor management. I sat there for 30 minutes waiting for my simple order. The cashier seemed completely untrained on using their cash register. She botched 6 orders in a row, including mine, typically swapping iced and hot beverage orders, forcing the baristas to remake orders and further deepen the que. There was clear tension between the baristas and the register as a result. Orders where barely called out, no music, the ambiance was mostly people complaining about all the problems. When my drink came, it was watered down and lacking in quality. Plus, I was overcharged due to the cashier’s errors. I wish them the best of luck.

Let me start by saying I love this coffee shop- they make the best baked goods. I would chose them over any other coffee shop. However, I've found that they will only give you fresh baked goods if you order through doordash. If you order on other platforms prepare for stale pastries. Amended. I will sadly not be ordering from higher grounds again. Not only did I get stale pastries, they missed items, and my order was delivered to the wrong house although I ordered through their spot on website. Bummed.
