The gals here are always friendly and smiling. The coffee drinks are too weak and you can barely taste the actual coffee flavor. Got the iced mocha and it tasted like chocolate milk

Not much variety, doesn’t taste very good in comparison to other coffee places, although staff is sweet though. Mostly syrups used in the coffee.

I come to this coffee shop 5-6 times per week. I also have recommended dozens of others to make this their coffee shop of choice. However, my interaction with Elaina today means that I won’t be back and I will share my experience with all those that I’ve referred. I was waiting for someone that I had an appointment with at a table and they were running late. Elaina came to me at the table and told me that store policy was that I couldn’t sit at the table if I didn’t buy something. Obviously I intended on buying something when my colleague arrived but when I told her this she said I couldn’t sit at the table until I bought something. I explained the situation and told her how much I love to visit the shop regularly. She said “well then you know our policy and need to respect it.” When I became irritable that she was sticking to a policy over customer service I asked her for the information to contact the owners about my experience. She gave me a coffee cup sleeve with a website on it and told me to go there and then said “I hope you find a better personality sir.” before I left. Wow. This is up there with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The other employee even looked at her in disbelief. Won’t be back and neither will my friends and colleagues.

When you’re looking for that small-town coffee shop vibe - look no further than Coffee Rush! They have all the milks, tons of flavors, food and snacks, wifi, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating too. Their service is impeccable too! Coffee Rush is a must-visit for anyone who loves coffee! Forget about those large chain coffee shops. These folks know how to do coffee right! Coffee Rush has been in business in Arizona for over 21 years! Great coffee, amazing service, and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived! Thanks Mo & Co! Edit: Order before you sit down - coffee shops attract a lot of freeloaders who like to use restrooms and wifi for free. Some people think outdoor patios are a great place to mooch off of people so this place ensures nobody is bothering their other customers. Don’t bring outside food/drinks into another food/drinks establishment. If you do this anywhere and are asked to leave, don’t leave a 1-star review… try running your own business. I would kick you out too. Don’t smoke or vape on their outdoor patio. Coffee Rush is a small-town style business and they offer an experience with your coffee, but you have to be willing to engage and say hello to your barista. Don’t play on your phone while you order. Make small-talk and take a moment to enjoy the atmosphere. I promise you, your barista will appreciate your company for the couple of minutes you’re at their counter. Treat these folks like you’d treat a small coffee shop - because that’s what Coffee Rush is. They actually care and they’re just trying to run a business without having to worry about folks taking advantage of their space and services. ^ I read some other reviews where folks left less than a few stars so here’s my edit.

Quality service and great coffee!

There are 3 rush stores in east valley. The one by baseline rd is the best, it has shaded outside area with plugs and multiple bathrooms. Be prepared for long lines at the Dobson one. If you want peace and quiet, pick the Val Vista store, 99% of customers don't stay after purchase.

The staff are always so friendly and they make a perfect cappuccino every time I come in. I will say that the decor is a little worn and could use some love. The photos of the staff and customers are a sweet touch.

We are bought two 32oz cups of coffee ，taste good！the service is great，those drinks are not expensive，Like it！

I get the 32oz sugar free caramel machiatto chiller. So good! All black, no milk.

I got to coffee rush all the time before I have school, this is the first time I've been to this one, I have the best service as always, the staff is so nice and pleasant to be around, this is the first time this has ever happened, they forgot my whipped cream and honestly no big deal and if I asked them to fix it they easily would, this coffee shop is definitely a lot cheaper than to others I've been to and their coffee taste wayyyyyy better. HIGHLY recommend this place.

I've been coming to the Val Vista location for over a year. There are a few rude barista but for the past few months there had been a great barista there every Wednesday. Well, today the bad barista was back. I sat down to wait for my friend since I was on a phone call. This barista came over and told me I had to order before sitting down and if I didn't do so I had to leave. Customer service here is terrible, for the most part. There is another review about the owner telling a lady and her friend to leave because one of them did not buy her drink there. I was there that day. I saw them come out with a drink, go a few doors down to another shop and then come back just to get kicked out. I will never go back here. They are never so busy to kick people out. It would be a different thing if they needed people to leave to make room for more paying customers, but they don't.

I USED TO be a loyal customer at this location for the past two years, until today when the man who I believe is the owner treated me incredibly disrespectfully and rudely. I came in around 1:30pm and the woman working took my order. I sat down and drank my coffee while working for 20 minutes. At this point, my friend arrived to meet me. I went outside and was gone for three minutes at most. We then went to walk inside and sit before our nail appointment and my friend had an outside beverage with her.. in which the man aggressively and loudly shouts at us as we walk in "are you ordering something? No outside drinks." I politely explained that I had just ordered a drink (which I finished thus didn't have the cup) and he says "that doesn't look like a cup we serve here" to my friend. I then turned to the woman working who made my order and said "i literally just finished it and walked outside briefly. Ask her" -- while she did agree, they very rudely asked us to leave. Since we had about 10 minutes until our appointment, we sat at the table outside in the shade since it's 100 degrees out and I'm pregnant, in which the woman must have then been told by the owner to make us leave because she came outside and aggressively said "this is also our table with your outside beverage and you can't sit here." I have spent an unnecessary amount of money at this coffee shop over the past couple years and while I understand my friend had an outside beverage, I was indeed a paying customer and if that is the rule, there is still a way to talk to people and not accuse them of not buying a beverage. This was my last visit to coffee rush. By the way, there were about two people in the overall coffee shop so it's not like we were taking up needed space. Maybe there would have been more people if the owner wasn't so rude.

Always the best coffee for the money. Not overpriced like the other big coffee places. Will be back again.
