I absolutely love going to Smith-Byrd House for their tea. The service is always great and they offer recommendations when I don't know what to pick. Whenever I have to go to the area for work, I always stop to get me some tea. They have a very large selection so you are bound to find something that you would like to try.
Its a must. Perfect place to go for two,a large party and even just by yourself. Its perfect for any vibe like special occasions, catching up, routine hanging out, or a place to take a break and have a bite to eat. I loved everything they served! Its so yummy. I personally recommend getting the salad and quiche together because they balance eachother out perfectly. Best quiche I had, as well. Their food is perfectly balanced in flavor. Not overly sweet,nor salty;very fresh tasting as well. My baby loved the sandwiches and moist scones,too. The hotel definitely makes their menu with intention and love;which I believe why it tastes delicious.Its definitely a beautiful layout that is pleasing to the eyes but the flavors are the winners.They have a galore of teas to drink that are described perfectly on the menu so they all were a hit for me. We just went for the tea room experience and on our way out enjoyed their cute gift shop,walking out with a few goodies. Must visit. Me and my family loved it so much. Thank you.
We did not stay there so I can't rate the rooms but we did spend a few hours drinking tea and enjoying lunch. The teas were delicious anfnthe service was excellent!

This tearoom and bed & breakfast is a gem! The accommodations are historic and comfortable. The tea selection is huge and delicious. The customer service is excellent! I highly recommend stopping in or staying the night.
Love the atmosphere and tea selection. The owners are so nice and opened especially for my daughter's birthday.
My best friend of 50 years and I have a tradition of eating at Smith-Byrd House every year to start the Christmas season. It is something we look forward to and the food, atmosphere and people are wonderful!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Smith-Byrd House. Beth and David are friendly hosts who care about their guests. We enjoyed sharing breakfast with them. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and breakfast and tea time were delicious. If you're visiting Prattville or Montgomery, I recommend this B&B.
Love this place. Inside is so beautiful, family-staff are great, and always grateful drinks and food.
I've been to the Tea Room for lunch several times. As always today was great! Delicious food and Pumpkin Spice tea was excellent!
Place is over grown & ran down. Cat everywere... Porch is very cluttered with ladder and Lumber. Old broke down wicker table and chair set in front side yard side yard. Balcony above front porch is literally falling off.
Always a pleasure to come to the tea room! They’re working hard on renovations and they take the time to know you and remember you! Love the atmosphere, company, tea and food.

My family of 5 went for afternoon tea. We are so pleased with the service and food! There is a large selection of teas, there is a good variety of food, and the ambiance was great. I would highly recommend going!
Very nice out of the way tea room. Nice relaxing atmosphere. Large selection of teas ensures there will always be something for everyone. Menu had a selection of finger sandwiches and trees cakes. All very good.
Beth and David were very accommodating for my family! We requested gluten-free and vegetarian options, as well as socially-distant seating arrangements. They went above our expectations in making us comfortable, and the tea was very tasty!
We did not stay. 3 cats on porch, place smelled mouldy, not kept up, allergies kicked in just walking inside the front door. Stayed at Hampton Inn.
Let me get to the tea, 🤣, okay but forreal!! My stay (be it one night) was lovely. So lovely. When was the last time you stayed somewhere lovely when traveling? Comfortable big rooms, just as pictured. Delicious tea on real porcelain, delicious home-cooked breakfast. Beth and David care and it shows. I love that I have my tea at home and remember there is still time for care and time for relaxing in this world.
Stopped here on our way from Florida to Nashville. Wonderful B & B. Beth and David are wonderful hosts. Told us the history of the house, brought a pot of tea to our room after dinner, made us a wonderful breakfast and joined us. We will return when we are in the area.
