Love this place always good food and good friendly service!
Feels like its never open i work throughout the day and when i get off i sometimes crave big spring cafe and they are never open and closed on the weekend they close at 3 on weekdays the hours are very inconvenient for people that work.
The regulars think they run the place, food is bland. They use the "oldest restaurant in Huntsville" as a crutch for their mediocre food.
Biscuits were fairly dry.
Nice inexpensive diner. Food was fast and service top notch
This has been one of my favorites for more than 50 years. Food is ALWAYS good.
How about the best greasy food in all of Huntsville! And really affordable too!!
It is not a fancy place. But, it has the best hamburgers and French fries. Good prices too.
Good basic diner food with friendly service.
Just go you won't regret it!!
This place has always been and always will be home of the greasy Cheeseburger. The cheeseburgers the best in town and they're chili dogs are the best in town and their bowl of chili is the best in town there's nothing that they don't make that is just absolutely delicious.
I'm visiting from out of state. Every time I'm in Huntsville, Big Spring Cafe is a must stop. Food is great. Staff is awesome. Hours are too short.
Great little cheeseburgers 🍔 for the money & great chili dogs only draw back is they are closed on the weekends.
I loved their classic but unique ketchup slaw dog and their chilly cheese fries.
Awesome food and great service.
Best diner in town! Great food and friendly staff.
I haven't ate here in awhile so I decided to try it again. Onion rings was decent, burger was ok,but cold.
Had not been there for a long time. Decided to stop by and get a hot dog, hamburger and fries, and man was it good. Wished they would not close up so early.
As I walked into this Cafe, I couldn't help but notice the cozy old style 60s vibe. It was super cool and instantly took me back in time. The interior design was simple yet charming, and it felt like I was stepping into my grandma's house. I ordered the burger and was blown away by how amazing it tasted. The flavors were on point, and I could tell that the ingredients were fresh. The bun was small, but it was made with so much love and care that it added to the overall experience. It was like having a burger made by your Nana. I appreciated the fact that this place didn't try to be a fancy 5-star restaurant. Instead, it focused on what it did best - making delicious burgers that transported you to a different era. The price was right, and I felt like I got my money's worth. I had a great meal that was fresh and not frozen for a year, unlike some other fast food chains. It was evident that the staff put their heart and soul into every dish, and it showed in the final product. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nostalgic dining experience with delicious food. It may not be the fanciest spot in town, but it definitely delivers on taste and ambiance.
The double cheeseburger is my favorite, and they have delicious onion rings!😋😋😋
