The coffee was good and cute place but one of the workers went to the back where you can see her, took some cough medicine of sorts, was clearly not feeling well and was eating and drinking something and and came right back to serving others and getting pastries from bin without washing her hands. So gross. Glad she didn't make our order. Health and sanitation check needed. Ruined my experience seeing that. Too bad.
Coffee is so good and the staff is so nice!!
Cool spot by the park. Great coffee and some pretty decent food options.
Has the chicken Panini and coffee. Pricey but a good spot to sit outside and people watch in the morning.
I ordered a latte. The price listed on the wall was $3.50. The price at the register was $4.50. The register worker said "oh, we changed our prices", and left things at that. The latte was awful. The shot was sour and the milk was over-steamed to the point the foam was marshmallow and it scalded my tongue. Don't come here.
I enjoyed one of their Abyssinian lattes. They were easily able to accommodate my dairy allergy. No dairy in their flavoring (of the drink I chose) and substituted soy milk. They have other non-dairy milk substitutes available.
The food and coffee was great, especially the wrap! My only complaint is the store was a bit cold inside.
Fantastic food and coffee, personally I prefer the one at pepper place. More cozy and far more seating. Either is great though!
Bad coffee no seats inside was freezing out side
Delicious breakfast sandwich and coffee, really hit the spot!
Good coffee. This location is always busy.
Came here yesterday and enjoyed one of their fall seasonal lattes! As a busy realtor, I'm always looking for a great place to caffeinate haha
Sometimes very slow to serve. Also, they stopped serving the BEST zucchini bread! Why??? The stuff was like crack. It was one of the best vegan treats in town. Now we have to go to Hero for their vegan doughnuts (which are also very good!).
Cute coffee spot and to grab a sandwich! Also staff is really kind and friendly🙂
We decided to stop into Red Cat on a quick visit to Birmingham and were so pleasantly surprised by our afternoon lattes that we came back first thing the next morning. I’ve lived all over the US and this is the best coffee I’ve had in at least 5 or 6 years, and maybe ever. Great place, great prices, friendly people.
Excellent coffee! Probably the best in Birmingham! And very fairly priced. Also lovely ambiance.
I love this coffee spot downtown. The coffee is delicious. I like the Havana flavor combination for coffee and their chocolate/Nutella pop tarts are delicious!! I also love all of the event posters they have up showing different happenings around BHM. They always remind me how much I love this city. Update: their spiced maple brown sugar latte for Fall is FABULOUS!
I like dark roast black coffee- this place gets it right! Delicious!
wildflower latte is delicious 10/10 easily better tasting coffee than sbux
The ladies working at the Red Cat were friendly and the coffee was spot on! The croissant was excellent.
