I love this place! Great environment and extremely friendly staff. They’re also very knowledgeable about coffee/tea products. Don’t be afraid to ask for something not on the menu. And the price for the product is unbeatable. No, it doesn’t have a drive through. But you can get a cup of coffee, leave a generous tip, and still come out cheaper than Starbucks! And their coffee tastes better. Yeah, I said it. If you’re ever near by, stop by. You won’t regret it.

Innova is an absolute gem of a coffee shop! I stopped in first time for a quick 'spro and beyond a truly delicious shot there was abundant evidence how much pride they take in their coffee. I look forward to being back soon! Thanks to Daniel and Tyler for the hospitality and for being a part of the Birmingham coffee scene.

Ordered to go, drinks tasted lovely, handwriting beautiful, and my toast was so satisfying! Very thick slice of bread and fresh ingredients, everything was delicious!
Updating just to say that the espresso I got today was one of the best espresso I've had in a long time. The crema was smooth and creamy and the taste was sweet and bright. Absolutely delicious.
One of my favorite coffee shops in Birmingham! I come here often to get work done and it's the perfect atmosphere. I have had their hot chocolate, cappuccino, and cold brew, and all of them have been absolutely delicious. If I could afford to be a regular I absolutely would!

Abundant GF options, unique toast entrees, all served with a smile. Live music, soft acoustic guitar this morning. We ate quiche with an small americano.
Great little coffee shop. Amazing pour overs and pretty good espresso. Each coffee comes with a little shortbread cookie which pairs well with the coffee. For sure would come check this place out if you're in the area.
Great establishment, great atmosphere, and the artwork on your coffee provided by the baristas are fabulous. Very welcoming and hospitable. Exemplary business supported by warm, engaging staff and leadership from the owner. Breaded mini-cake is compulsive.

This place is nice, was looking for a coffee shop to stop by before going shopping and I just saw this on maps so we went. I didn’t realize it was inside of an apartment lobby area, but it is open to the public so it doesn’t really matter. The latte and hot chocolate were pretty good, the muffin wasn’t the best though. The employees and baristas were super nice!
Staff is welcoming, black coffee is the best drip i've had in a while. Highly recommend.
I visit Birmingham a few times a year and I have started booking a hotel a little further from work so it is more convenient to go to Innova! I am happy to have delicious pour-over coffee to start the day, but the real treasure is the owner Tyler. He is an exceptionally nice person and somehow remembers me even though I’m only in every few months. I’m impressed with the coffee, the food, the space, and the people.
Awesome find, glad I decided to swing by while staying at a hotel nearby for a work trip. Super chill environment, very friendly baristas. Oh, and the coffee is excellent too! Highly recommend the maple bourbon latte and pumpkin bread. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town!
