Pros: seating was nice, but no outlets. Cons: hot latte was cold and frittata tasted like plastic. Way overpriced for the quality of food.

The salted butterscotch iced latte is so good! I'll definitely be back soon!

Pour-over coffee is their main thing, but don’t sleep on their espresso! It seems like so few shops nowadays understand how to properly pull a shot with medium- or light-roasted beans, but FILTER makes a beautifully balanced and extracted espresso shot.

Had an amazing pour over for a very reasonable price. Both the ladies working were super nice and I had a lovely chat with the barista making my pour over. 10/10 Will be back

Despite there being a long line, I still got everything I ordered in a timely manner. Nothing was rushed, everything was perfect...especially these blueberry muffins. You KNOW it's a good muffin when you bite into it and you get actual, tart blueberries and not some blueberry flavored jelly. I was blown away.

There is no one who dropped by this coffee house only once. You will go there again if you taste their coffee once.

this is me and my dog Banjo’s favorite spot. Seriously the most caring and sweet staff who make amazing drinks!! Jess, Mars and AB (I think are their names) are the coolest and always work hard to give me and Banjo the best experience. Love yall!!

I really enjoy Filter. It's a great place to be productive. The food - I loved the Bacon Frittata - and coffee are great. It's a bit on the small side and not the most comfortable in terms of seating, but if you need to get out of your apartment to work for a few hours or catch up with a friend, I recommend it.

They craft their own chai latte concentrate in house, and as I discovered this morning, it is delicious! The best chai latte I’ve had in a very long time. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Will definitely be back.

Interesting coffee shop. They actually don't really have a lot of flavorings. They more so rely on the taste of the actual coffee. Bold choice, but I think it works. The coffee is really good and it stands on it's own.

This place has wonderful coffee, wonderful staff, and a super welcoming ambience/environment. Very nice and easy to do work there as well. It is conveniently in down town Birmingham at the five points area that is a good area with restraints and other things close to walk to! They have a great variety of food as well! I gave 4 stars instead of five because the coffee was good but it didn’t wow me. I will probably go back and get one of their more specialty signature drinks and edit the review then.

Cold brew was delicious. They didn't have white chocolate, which significantly disappointed my sister.

This place is adorable and they have a lot of lovely options. The quality of the coffee is very good and there are lots of well thought out options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. That said, the food items look good but lack quality to back up the price. A drip coffee and bagel was $10 before tip. That is wildly overpriced. The to go lids are awful. The coffee spills everywhere and I ended up with hot coffee on my hand and down my leg with the lid still on. It was humbling. I just wanted decent caffeine. I gave it an open minded second chance and still had $2 worth of coffee on me and the sidewalk. Again, staff is lovely and so is the atmosphere and coffee. It’s a shame about the lids and baked goods

Really nice place... the baristas are kind and friendly, the espresso is great, AND they're now making their lattes with organic milk! I got the pumpkin one with some vanilla bean added in this morning... VERY yummy. If you're getting it to go, bring your own mug for a discount (and because it just feels better; every little thing helps). Thank you guys for being here in Bham! 💛🙂
