As an out of towner who needed to work remote for a few hours, I stopped in at the Abide Coffeehouse. I got a vanilla latte, and it was delicious. There were plenty of seating options where I could set up my laptop and plenty of outlets at almost every table where I could plug in my computer and phone. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. If you need a place to work or to grab a great cup of coffee, check this place out!

Best place for coffee in the area! Fantastic flat white and unique vibe—sort of an old library meets neighborhood living room feel.

Perfect place to hang out or use as a launchpad for nearby historic downtown, riverfront, or even across the bridge to Kirby Park.

Earthy and soft decor makes this shop aesthetically pleasing. Pair that with the scent of espresso grinding and fresh brewed coffee and you get pure bliss when you are in the shop. I have tried many different coffee roasts, and I usually need to have some sort of milk/alternative milk/cream in my coffee. Here, I can truly enjoy my coffee black. The barista is friendly and excellent at crafting a wide array of beverages. The shop offers alternative milk options(oat milk, almond milk, macadamia milk) to best serve customers with dairy allergies and those who follow vegan/vegetarian diets. Overall, the thought put into every detail of Abide makes this one of the best places to grab your morning brew.

The baristas are very welcoming and the design of the building is exquisite.

Easily the best coffee house I’ve ever been to. The staff is the friendliest and kindest people I have ever had serve me. The coffee itself is top tier in flavor and quality. I will be coming back here regularly for sure.

Best coffee in Wilkes Barre hands down. While everything they make is great, their chai and lattes are fantastic, and their seasonal creations are some of the most creative and delicious drinks around!

The staff are awesome. Lafe and Jordyn are great at what they do, but their also super cool and are some of the most personable folks you can meet!

If you're on Wilkes-Barre (or not) and you like coffee, you HAVE to get to Abide. Coffee's great, people are great, and the atmosphere is the perfect spot to chill or work remotely. One of my favorite spots around!
