Wonderful little tea shop. We made reservations for 4 and were seated right away. Great customer service. You get to choose which tea you would like from an extensive menu and a little pot arrives. There is a warmer next to each place setting to keep your pot warm. We ordered the Queen for lunch which consists of soup, scones with cream and curd, finger sandwiches, and little deserts. Charming gift shop as well.

Worst tea room experience ever. They serve these tiny little chocolate chip scones. They had no other types they said. They had no clotted cream (not that I would put it on a chocolate chip scone I suppose anyway). I had to ask for milk three times and the sandwiches were minuscule. I think they gave us 10 sandwiches( for three grown women )and the sandwiches were about the size of a silver dollar. $89 bill.
In case owner replies to this review: I did askif there were any other types of scones available and they said no. I asked what type of sandwiches they were three or four times not that it mattered because they were so tiny. They mixed the vegetarian sandwiches ( one of us pre ordered vegetarian) and the regular sandwiches together on a plate and that’s why I had to keep asking which sandwiches were which( the answer kept changing) . Just the worst experience. I wouldn’t have written a review at all if the bill was $30 but it was $90. Ripped off! Thanks for nothing 🥴
Follow up :The server spilt the lemon and almond cream.Noone spilt milk . She then spent several minutes trying to clean it up while we watched and waited. I asked for milk three times. I again asked while she tried to remove the cream and lemon from your carpet. Furthermore my 78 year old mother called and asked for a substitute for the bread. The person on the phone couldn’t conceive the concept of not eating bread . Your teeny tiny scones , if thats what you call them were terrible and not everyone eats chocolate , unbeknownst to you I suppose. We will NEVER return.

TranquilaTEA is a wonderful place for a mother and daughter date. The tea is fantastic - there are so many varieties it is hard to decide. Nancy and Laura are the sweetest people, very hospitable. Truly an experience, highly recommend. We already booked our second visit ;)

Took my wife and mother-in-law as a mother's day gift. Take some time to look at the online store to see their selection of teas because there are a lot. The food is incredibly tasty, and well presented, the portions look small but are very filling. I don't know if I missed it on their website or not but the teas are served both hot and cold. The staff there were very busy yet still felt like they were taking the time to help and accommodate all of the customers there which was nice. The final thing I have to say doesn't apply to my experience as much but it was very cute, they keep an assortment of fancy hats that a few little girls were trying on while having their tea party. The whole experience was very nice.

The tea was ok and I enjoyed the very small portion of soup. When I say small, you probably get 4 ounces of soup. The sandwiches were bland and lacked flavor. I couldn’t eat them. The cost is $31 including the 18% gratuity they add, and 6% sales tax. Way overpriced for what you get. I will never go back, and I can’t recommend this business.

Lovely tea service for me, my mother, and my daughter. They offer a large assortment of teas, and boast a bice gift shop, too. They went to the trouble of making my mother a gluten free assortment of goodies. My daughter loved the cupcake and sandwiches that came with the children's tea service. I highly recommend this place for afternoon tea!

Loved it! The whole experience was so.... like going back in time almost! Beautiful inside... tea was great... the sandwiches were delicious...gift shop has do many nice things including the flavors of loose tea that they serve. I highly recommend it. I have done the princess and queen teas. Both of those have unlimited pots of tea which is really nice so you can try many flavors. So far everyone I've brought here has loved it as well!
