One of the best coffee shops around!! Drinks are well crafted and they have both reliable and interesting roasts. Amazing, friendly staff too! Mechanic Coffee is definitely a treasure for Northeast Pittsburgh.

This will probably be my new favorite coffee place. It's small, but very clean. The woman in the picture was friendly, made great conversation, and most importantly.... made me a perfect latte!
I've been to several coffee shops and I used to work as a barista.This was one of the better lattes I've had - correct temperature, espresso didn't taste burnt, perfect amount of foam with a great leaf pattern poured on top. The whole experience really made a great Monday morning

Amazing people. They let me sit all morning while I searched for shelters when all I could buy was 1 coffee. They were so sweet to me. And every customer they came in was treated the same. They are such a class act. I hope I can continue to come once I get back on my feet. And the cold brew was amazing

Best coffee shop in the area by far. Fantastic coffee and very friendly and helpful staff. Very good prices for the quality as well....they don't charge an arm and a leg for artisan coffee like others. Great that you can pick up fresh bags of their own brews here too....large variety of options.

Thanks to our passport, I visited with my girlfriend this Saturday and can only come up with wonderful things to share.

Most importantly, the staff was mind-blowingly welcoming and warm. The menu was crafty and our drinks well executed. To boot, a counter treat that fit my goofy dietary needs set this shop over the top!

Will visit again. Anyone finding themselves in / around Verona should make a special stop!

Great coffee shop. I love supporting local companies. They make the best lavender latte. Beautifully renovated and lovely woodwork. I really like the decorum.

I discovered Mechanic Coffee recently and I'm so glad I did! I love smaller, boutique coffee shops, but in my opinion you can tell a lot about a coffee shop by their espresso. On my first visit (several months ago), I was greeted by Abigail who made me an amazing double shot and had great conversation with me.

I've since been back many times, and they even have a rewards program that gets you discounts once you accumulate stars on your purchases. The staff is always incredibly friendly, and their menu reads like a "most popular coffee/tea items" list - not a lot of extra fluff that most people wouldn't want. Their Chai latte is now my go-to. They also partner with a few local companies such as Commonplace (well known in the area) to source. Outdoor seating is awesome in the warmer months as well!

If you want to see a renaissance in the Verona business district, PLEASE support this great new coffee shop right across from the police station. High quality, great tasting coffee. Sophisticated and pleasant atmosphere. Great service and a very friendly owner. This is my new go-to place for coffee.
